"Daniel..?"
I muttered as I walked into my room.
He was looking out of the window, looking at the sky, to be precise.

Daniel was my family's android, helping out with usual chores.
My parents weren't always at home, thus leaving me and my younger sister Emma at home alone often.

It wasn't that bad, since they were at home every weekend, spending time with us together.

That time, my parents were out and about in another country, coming back that weekend. Emma was staying the night at a friends place, leaving me and Daniel alone at home.

"Welcome home, (Y/N)."
Daniel said, turning around while smiling at me.
"Wait.. Daniel..?!"
I muttered as I walked up to him in a quick pace while throwing my jacket on my bed.

Daniel was.. crying..
"Daniel, what has happened?"
"I'm.. scared that.. you will leave me.. replace-"
"Daniel."
I interrupted him, looking deep into his eyes while placing my hand on his cheek.

"I.. we won't replace you."
I told him, hugging him softly.
"What makes you so sure?"
He asked, not moving at all.

"Because it won't happen. You're like a family member already."
I explained to him while moving back slightly.

I was disappointed of him for not hugging me back, but I understood why, he was just too shaken up.

Feelings were new for him after all.

"We need to hide your feelings from everyone, since being deviant is not allowed. I talked to mum and dad about it, they don't have a problem with it."
I told him, turning around to walk up to my wardrobe.

"I understand.. I hope being deviant will be accepted one day though.."
Daniel said while walking up to the door. I watched him doing so, but..

"Wait."
I stopped him, causing him to look back at me.
"Do you have anything to do?"
I asked him while taking my pyjamas out of the wardrobe.

"I'm going to water the plants on the balcony, then my chores for today are completed."
Daniel said, causing me to nod in understanding.
He was about to leave the room again but i called his name out again.
"Daniel, I.. I am going to shower now."

He nodded, managing to leave your room finally.
I sighed in frustration.

I liked Daniel a lot, but I just couldn't tell him.
Deviancy wasn't allowed yet, what would people think when I were to be romantically involved with an Android?
