"Rae I think we should go on a break"
She looked up at me and her eyes instantly glazed over with tears
"Wdym?"
I sighed and looked away
"Wdym?" She repeated
I looked at her and she was wiping her tears away
"Have you fallen out of love with me or something?"
I shook my head
"Then what is it?"
I looked down
"Kairo why aren't you speaking to me?"
...
"Kairo?!"
I looked up at her again and she was twisting that ring I gave her around her finger
I looked down at the ring she had bought me
I sighed again
"Kairo, why aren't you speaking to me..?" She wiped her tears again but I could hear the lump in her throat
I looked back up at her
"Rae, don't get me wrong I love you - so much"
"Then why do - "
"It's not gonna make sense"
"Tell me" she wiped her tears away again
I sighed "Do you think I've been acting weird lately?"
"Yh..." she mumbled
"Yh - idk what the issue is and I wanted to sort it out. I didn't want you to feel like I'm shutting you out whilst I sorted things on my own b"
She looked at me and moved her hand to the necklace around her neck - the one I had bought her when I asked her out
"Babe - we don't need to go on a break for you to have alone time; if you want time by yourself" she sniffed "you just gotta let me know. Why can I help you sort things out?"
I sighed "because idk what the problem is"
"So why can't we find it together? She came over to me and held my hands
I sighed and looked away from her
She squeezed my hands
"Kairo please" she choked on her own tears "I need you"
My heart started to hurt

My heart felt so so so heavy
I was trembling
"Idk Rae"
