AN: I tried to keep this chapter to myself, but I just couldn't. Here's the third chapter of the batch.

Arielle's POV:

"Okay Arielle what is it that you have to tell me?" Jaylin asked.

I had told Jaylin yesterday that there was something that I had to tell her, and we were currently in a park sitting on a bench.

"When I tell you you can't freak out. Okay?"

"Ooh, this must be serious. I promise I won't freak out." She said.

"Well... I was thinking of asking Jennifer to be my girlfriend... again." I said to her.

She didn't say anything for a few seconds, and an expression crossed her face that I couldn't really explain.

"Jeez don't freak out too much." I said sarcastically.

She didn't freak out, is she okay?

She didn't respond so getting serious, I asked "Hey Jay, are you okay?"

"Yea, why wouldn't I be." She said and smiled.

To anyone else, it would've looked like a normal smile, but to me I could tell that it was forced.

"Are you sure?" I asked again, trying to get her to tell me what was wrong.

"Actually, I need to go to Sophie's house." She said.

"Why?" I asked her, confused as to why she would be going there.

"I need to get some make-up from her, bye Arielle." She said, and quickly walked away, not even giving me a chance to say goodbye.

Why was she acting so weird? I thought to myself.

I took out my IPhone to check the time and saw that it was 8:30 P.M.

"Why would she be getting make-up this late?" I thought aloud.

Something's definitely up.

------------------------------------------------

When I got back to the apartment it was around 9.

I walked to the living room and saw that Jennifer was there looking at a whole bunch of papers on the table in front of her.

"Is that you, Arielle?" She asked, not even looking up from the papers.

"Yea." I said, locking the door.

I walked over to the couch and sat down next to her.

"What are all these papers for?" I asked.

"Lesson Plans."

"Got a few minutes to spare?" I asked her.

"For you? Of course." She said and then put all the papers to the side.

"So what is it?" Jennifer said giving me her full attention.

"Well... does Jaylin have a crush on someone?" I asked.

When she heard this her whole body seemed to stiffen.

"Why do you ask? Did she tell you that she had a crush on someone?"

"No, it's just..." I trailed off.

I couldn't possibly tell her that it was because I told Jaylin I was going to ask her out.

"I've known her my entire life and I've never seen her date someone. Do you know why that is?" I asked her.

She sighed and put her head in her hands.

After a minute or so, she looked up at me and said "I hate to bring this up, but do you remember why I left?"

"Because you didn't want me to get hurt right?" I answered.

"Well... that was one reason. Would you like to know the other?" She asked cautiously.

I nodded my head and she asked me again. "Are you sure?"

"Yes Jennifer, just tell me." I said, getting frustrated.

"The other reason was because... Jaylin had a crush on you."
