(Third person's POV)

ALL of them were on guard while still eyeing the twins who are currently walking down the grand staircase.

Everything seemed going according to plan.

"What the fuck was that?" Pacifica muttered when she heard a moan from her ear piece.

"Probably Charles and his date," Simone muttered.

Don't tell me they're really kissing? Pacifica thought. Natawa siya nang bahagya habang iniimagine ang kan'yang kuya na may kahalikan ngunit tumigil din agad sa pag-iisip nang mapagtanto niyang nakakadiri ito para sa kan'ya.

"Those are distractions. The real fishes are in the crowd. One XX is spotted while the other, XY, is still unfound," muttered Siegfreid nang masiguro niyang walang taong malapit sa kan'ya.

"What the?" Napatayo agad si Pacifica at nagsimulang maglakad-lakad kasama si Ashwin. Upon hearing Siegfreid, alam nilang he's keeping an eye on Ashley. It was quite easy to determine since XX is the female chromosome while XY is for the male.

Ang kanilang kailangan hanapin na ngayon ay si Ashford.

"We won't find him at this state. Let's split up," Pacifica said as she let go of Ashwin's arm. Bago pa man siya makalayo, Ashwin grabbed her arm.

"Don't go. Baka mapahamak ka," he said rather worried.

Umiling si Pacifica bago tanggalin ang pagkakahawak ni Ashwin sa kan'yang braso.

"Hindi 'yan ang kailangan nating problemahin. Listen to me please. Let's just search for him," she said. Wala nang nagawa si Ashwin kundi panoorin siyang maglakad palayo.

"Beth has distanced herself from Gino. I repeat. Beth has distanced herself from Gino," Ashwin said to his ear piece as he was cautiously looking around.

"Shit. She shouldn't go on her own," 'yan ang naiisip ng kambal na sina Simone at Siegfreid.

"Group Rogue, maintain a safe distance from Beth. Make sure she's safe," Simone ordered some members of Blackthorn.

Tumango ang isa bago sabay-sabay na hinanap si Pacifica. Hindi lamang nila pinahalata na may kakaiba sa kanilang ikinikilos.

As for Pacifica, she found herself near the staircase. She was waiting for the fake twins to reach the bottom of the stairs. Do'n niya pagmamasdan ang nasa paligid.

Upon arriving at the bottom of the stairs, the masked man who is supposedly Ashford met Pacifica's eyes. He smirked pero hindi 'yon nahalata ni Pacifica. She just pretended to be enjoying a drink.

Nagulat siya nang lumapit sa kan'ya ang lalaki at agawin sa kan'ya ang baso niya ng wine. She was about to protest kaso inilagay na nito ang baso niya sa tray ng dumaang waiter.

Bago pa man siya makapagsalita ay nagulat siya nang hapitin siya ng lalaki sa bewang. He leaned down and whispered, "I have a fake Ashley with me. I'm the real deal, sweetheart."
