A few days later they were both out of the hospital and headed back to New York, more specifically the newly designed Avengers Tower.

Steve opened the door for Y/N and Tony was waiting there to greet them, "Welcome to my humble abode," he greeted. "Don't worry about your stuff, I have people that will handle that for you two," he said leading them to the elevator.

On the way up, "With S.H.I.E.L.D. gone I thought the Avengers could become our own group, outside of the government organizations," Tony explained.

Y/N agreed, "We could easily modify some of the quinjets to fit our needs," she added.

"I like how you think," Tony smiled. "I've called the rest of the team, they're on their way. Even Thor is coming down from Asgard. Clint won't being staying fulltime, but he'll be here."

The doors opened and Tony led the two throughout the tower, pointing out various things and rooms, going through all the floors. Y/N grew bored once they reached Tony's lab, she turned to Steve and quietly pulled him to the side.

Both of them quickly found the floor with their room, they opened the door and found it to be homier than expected, even with all their unpacked boxes everywhere.

"Welcome home," Y/N smiled as she wrapped her arms around Steve's neck.

Steve smiled down at her, "You're my home," he said leaning his forehead against hers. "I love you," he said kissing her. Y/N leaned into the kiss, her fingers wrapping in the ends of Steve's hair.

An awkward cough from the side distracted them, "Alright, Cap, Y/N, I know I put it in the note, but please don't fondue in my new tower...please," Tony said.

Y/N laughed, burying her head in Steve's chest. "Your tour got boring," Y/N teased.

Tony shook his head, shutting the door, "If you do fondue, at least shut the door!" he called out as he left.

Steve smiled, "This is only the beginning," he reminded.

Y/N brushed some hair out of his face, "How about we go get something to eat, then we can come back and unpack later?" she suggested.

"If I'm right there's a great Italian place not far from here," Steve added.

"Steven Rogers, are you saying yes to trying something new, what happened to being too busy?" Y/N asked.

Steve shrugged, "You're the only thing on my mind. It's the way things should be."

Steve couldn't help but realize just how in love with Y/N he really was when he was with her his whole world stopped. He dipped down and captured her lips in a kiss, his arms wrapped around her waist held her close.

Y/N smiled into another kiss, "This is nice," she admitted. "No missions, no problems."

Steve could not agree more, "I think you're forgetting that we now live with Tony," he joked.

Y/N let out a soft laugh, "How could I forget?"
