Chapter 3

Holly Pov~~

I sigh as I look over the edge.

'I'm finally going to end it all'

I turn my back and prepare for the drop. I play all the happy memories as- a sudden scream breaks me out of it.

I turn, fast, wanting to know where the scream came from but I lost my footing and slipped.

"Aaah!" I scream, as I fall. The last thing I saw were a set of pink eyes, then the moon as I fell, facing the sky.

Your Pov~~(Earlier)

"No! Stop!" I thrash around in the sack.

I summon a blade and it draws from my wrist. I'd lost my jewelry ability when my memory 'restarted', but I gained the ability to summon a dagger, it had 'Cupid ♡' engreved into it.

I cut the bag and sprung out. I look behind me and see a tall, grey kangaroo with no tail and some hairy guys.

I glare at them, recognising the kangaroo.

I dash off and back around the corner. I see Holly standing there- I scream when I feel cold hands on my arms. I don't even care to look back at who ever grabbed me.

My scream caught Holly's attention, she turned to look and- NO!

I heared her scream as she fell. A sharp splash was heard and the scream stopped.

I screeched out and ripped my arm from their restraints.
I held my hands over my eyes and wiped the tears.

'I may not have known her, but she believed in me. She heared me scream!'

It was too dark for her to see me when I hid around that corner. My stupid leg was out accidentally.

'My first believer in 70 years!'

I was turned around and felt cloth engulf my body as I was pulled into a chilly, yet comforting hug. I wrapped my wings around myself and whoever was comforting me.

'My first hug since never'

I calm down and pull away. It's not like I've experienced seeing people die before. It always gets me, but I saw this girl before then.

'I really wished she could've lived'

I opened my eyes and see two gorgeous blue eyes infont of me. I feel our colours clash, pink and blue.

"Hi, I'm Jack, Jack Frost"

"Cupid, (Y/n) Cupid" I shook off all emotions and smiled up at the white haired boy. I preferred being called Cupid in more formality, only closer friends call me by my first name. And by 'friends' I mean Manny.

"You alright, Cupid, did something happen?"

"Oh, no just nothing" I wipe my tears and push the memory far behind myself. If you don't lock it away, those brown eyes will haunt my memory forever.

"Well, Manny told us about you being a guardian, those guys wanted to take you in the good ol' sack, but once you broke out, I convinced them to let me take you"

I hide the blade behind my back, making it mist away. I thank Jack for considering me and ask where we're going.

"To the north pole of course"

"Okay!" I cheer.

And we fly and race all the way there.
