Michael's POV
I woke up groggy from last night. After Ara left I took a bunch of sleeping pills and just crawled into bed hoping to forget the night. I hear a soft knock at the door
"Mikey can I come in?" Its my mum
"Uh yeah" she opens the door quietly and sits on my bed beside me.
"How are you sweetie? You didn't eat anything last night, are you feeling okay?"
"Yeah just tired I guess"
"Oh baby, is it because of Arabella?" I gave her a silent nod."Well you know what sweetie, you should stay home and sleep and just get some much needed rest"
"No mum I shouldn't skip school"
"Mikey, one day wont kill you. I'll even get you some chocolate chip muffins from Stella's bakery"
"Fine mum, thanks"
"Did you know Stellas daughter is back from America"
"Yeah I saw her yesterday"
"Really nice girl, and extremely pretty. You should get to know her."
"Mum really?"
"Yeah I guess you should lay off the romance for a bit"
"Talking about romance mum, who was that guy last night?"
"You mean Sean?" Oh well um he's a work buddy." I instantly saw her eyes brighten up at just the mention of the guy. At least one of us is happy.
"He seems nice mum"
"I'm glad you think so. But sweetie I have to get going okay. Here is some money for pizza, call me if you need anything else okay?"
"Yeah mum"
"Bye baby love you" She kissed my cheek and started heading out.
"Bye mum love ya too"

Can you say filler chapter or what??? Okay I know this chapter wasn't much and that it is really short so I will probably update twice. I have some writers block I guess. Please keep in mind I write my stories ahead of time so hopefully by the time I write chapter 21 the writers block will go away and it will be much better.
