"Mikey you're insane, you're, you're heartbroken"
"Ash, me and Ara weren't anything"
"Okay then why are you acting like this? Why are you throwing your life away over something that wasn't even real?" He started yelling, anger and frustration bubbling up inside him.
"I'm not, I'm just, it gets too much Ash"
"What gets too much? Mikey tell me, I'm your friend"
"This,my life. It all snowballed. My parents started fighting, I got in trouble at school, my dad walked out on us, half the school hated me, even the girl I loved hated me"
"You shouldn't let the past get in the way of your future. Your mum and dad are happier than ever, Luke forgave you. Even Ara was falling for you"
"Even if that is true, we're better off not together. All we've ever done is cause each other pain and that's all we'll ever do to each other"
"Well sometimes things happen for a reason. Maybe its time to let her go"
"Thanks Ash, for everything" I said smiling weakly
"But Michael, you're gonna have to go back to school okay?"
"I will"
