"I can't believe you actually had to drag Justin out of his room this morning," Xukun laughed looking over to Scarlett who sat in the back seat. "He's usually really excited to go to school since he gets to see girls, but I guess not now."

The four of them were driving to school while the others took separate cars as usual.

"Probably wants to spend more time with her," Linkai shrugged looking down at his phone. "But then again, he might not have slept so well."

"What do you mean," Scarlett asked because Justin could sleep through a storm if there was one.

"Well, I barely slept. I heard screaming last night," Linkai explained while locking his phone. "It was pretty close too and I was going to call the police because it sounded...it sounded like someone was being tortured."

"Well, why didn't you-"

"That was me," Scarlett said cutting off Ziyi who was about to scold the youngest in the car. "I was watching a the Conjurer last and I had my window open. I fell asleep halfway through it so yeah. The screams from the movie were probably what you heard."

"I doubt that. You were probably screaming of fear," Linkai laughed pointing a finger at her.

"I watched that movie three times. I'm telling you I fell asleep," Scarlett crossed her arms with a pout before turning to look out the window.

"Whatever you say," Linkai sung.

Scarlett's first two classes passed by quickly. In them they didn't do anything, but introduce themselves and go over the syllabus.

"Hey, Crimson. This seat taken," a familiar voice asked as the girl had been sitting in the back of the large room staring off in thought. She looked up to see Yanjun staring down at her.

"I would say yes, but you'd probably sit there anyways," the girl sighed. With her arm propped up on the desk and her chin sitting in the palm of her hand, she stared at the board again.

"What's with you this morning? You seem...weird," Yanjun asked concerned. She would've been flirting with him or teasing him already.

"I'm just worried about Justin and Linkai. Supposedly, they didn't sleep very well last night," Scarlett sighed sitting up and rolling her shoulders back. "Nothing to worry about with me. Anyways, where's this girlfriend of yours...Yunyu, was it?"

"EX girlfriend and yes, Yunyu is her name," Yanjun corrected immediately before looking around the room of people. "She happens to not be here yet and I'm hoping she doesn't show up eith-"

"Yanyan," a voice said cutting him off. Yanjun froze in his spot, head turned in Scarlett's way, praying she wouldn't come over to them.

Scarlett looked around Yanjun to see a girl with dark brown eyes and light brown hair. "She's pretty," Scar commented.

"Yeah, but a pretty face doesn't mean a pretty heart. She's crazy, manipulative, and-"

"I get it, Yanjun. If you don't like her why don't you try showing her that you don't," Scarlett shrugged like it was the easiest thing in the word.

"Yanyan," the girl called again taking a step towards them, but came to a halt when another person entered the room.

"Everyone take a seat," the Professor ordered. Yunyu looked around Yanjun and noticed an open spot right beside him, but was too late. A guy went and took the seat before she could even take one step. Grumbling, the girl walked off towards the other side of the room.

"Thank God. Thanks for sitting there," Yanjun sighed in relief turning to the guy who saved him from his ex. When his eyes landed on the guy they widened with surprise. "Ruibin?"

"Hey," Ruibin nodded with a smile before turning his attention to the professor.

"What the hell," Yanjun muttered to himself turning back to Scarlett to tell her something, but she was already preoccupied by a certain someone sitting on the other side of her.

"Excuse me, I'm a little confused. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure," the girl sitting beside her smiled looking to her from her notebook as she pushed a strand of hair from her face.

"I thought goddess's knew everything. Why are you here?"

"Why are you mad," Scarlett asked Yanjun as she slipped another small parchment into her pocket. Like last class, he exited the classroom without her, but this time she caught up.

"I'm not mad," Yanjun lied horribly, making Scarlett smirk. He quickly turned the corner of the building with her on his tail.

"Don't tell me you're mad I didn't give you any attention today," she said catching up to him. When she did he turned to her, grabbing both of her arms and pushed her against the wall.

Scarlett's eyes widened as she looked up to Yanjun who smirked seeing how caught off guard she was.

"Why would I be mad, Crimson? You can flirt with girls and I can flirt with other girls. We're just playing a game, aren't we," Yanjun raised an eyebrow as he let go of her and place his hands in his pockets. "Unless you're trying to make me jealous because you like me."

"That's a cute accusation, Yanyan," Scar smiles up at him. "But like you said. We're just playing a game."
