"Did you write your paper yet," Ziyi asked as he, Linkai, Zhangjing, and Scarlett walked down the narrow hallway that had their philosophy class at the end. The class itself had just finished which meant it was time for Scarlett's Psychology class.

"Nope, I'll do it over break," Linkai replied popping the p. "If I did do it, I probably would've rubbed it in your face."

"What paper," Zhangjing asked with a mouth full of chips.

"The one that's due the last day of class. What your definition of philosophy is, why you think it's that, and examples of it," Scarlett reminded him for the fifth time since their class started. "You know, you should pay more attention instead of eating all the snacks from the pantry."

Scarlett snatched the bag of chips from him and he pouted. "Hey! I got those from the vending machine."

"Sure..." Scarlett nodded, but gave it back to him. "I'm kidding about eating all the snacks from the pantry, by the way. Eat as much as you want, but try to pay attention in class more often."

"It's boring," Zhangjing poked his bottom lip out.

"Then why'd you take it," Linkai asked sending him a look even though he himself didn't really pay attention.

"Because Professor doesn't care if I eat in his class and just sit around."

"That's not a good reason," Ziyi muttered. "Anyways, have you started your paper yet, Scar?"

"Yeah. It just kind of based it off what we already learned and some things I did research on. I figured I'd do it early and not worry about it last minute," she responded as they came to the elevator and stairs.

"Let's take the ele-"

Scarlett skipped down the stairs and waved at the boys who watched her. Scarlett hated elevators, Zhangjing personally thought it was due to the fact that Kylie Jenner and the Kardashians got stuck in one, but the others highly doubted that was exactly the reason.

"I gotta hurry to class. My exam is today. I'll see you guys at home," she told them and then she was out of sight.

She had to walk half way across campus in order to get to Psychology. Of course, it didn't take long, but she wanted to be there early since the Professor said they would lock the doors so no one could come in late.

As Scarlett walked up the path to her class, her phone buzzed in her hand with a text. She stopped on the side and looked at the text.

Scarlett evilly giggled as she put her phone into her pocket. She was about to go on her way, but an arm wrapped around her from behind and a hand clamped over her mouth.

Scarlett panicked and slammed her elbow back with harsh force. Her captor barely dodged it and whispered, "Sorry, Crimson. Didn't mean to scare you."

Scarlett's eyes widened and she grabbed the hand over her mouth and looked back to see Yanjun grinning.

"You asshole," she shouted throwing his hand away. "Do you have any idea-"

"You want me to hold you longer, Crimson? Will that make you feel better because I don't mind," Yanjun raised an eyebrow pushing her body against his own.

Scarlett almost choked. She didn't expect him to be that way after the past couple of weeks now he wanted to play again? Scarlett mentally slapped herself, but smiled and turned in his arm to face him.

His dark chocolate eyes smiling down at her as she did so. A couple of girls walking past them giggled at the two who looked like lovers in a movie.

"You know," Scarlett started, fixing Yanjun's clothing. She grabbed the collar of his shirt and adjusted it then fixed his gold necklace. "If you're going to flirt with me. Try not to piss me off first," she said and kicked his shin.

Yanjun yelped and hissed as she escaped his grasp. As he bent to rub the injured area, Scarlett stood in front of him with her hands on her hips.

"What the hell, Crimson."

"Hell is where you'll be going if you scare me like that again."

"Okay. I'm sorry. Geez," he muttered then stood straight. He opened his mouth to say something to her, but she was already walking away from him.

"You better hurry up before you can't take your exam."
