"She likes you."

"What," Yanjun asked, looking to Eunwoo who sat a seat away from him. The two of them were the only ones at the table, while the others were playing the two arcade games in the restaurant. Scarlett was watching Rui play the classic PAC-Man game, giving pointers even though she wasn't too good at the game herself.

"Xiulan likes you...a lot," Eunwoo stated looking at the girl with a smile. His eyes moved to Yanjun who didn't know what to say, he didn't think Eunwoo would say such a thing.

"I don't think-"

"She does. Trust me," the boy shifted in his seat to face him. "I can see it in the way she looks at you and the way she talks to you. She has this sparkle in her eyes and she always looks to you, waiting for your reaction to something. When you don't look, she's smiling at you and when she's embarrassed in front of you, she bites her lips."

"And you caught that the past hour and a half," Yanjun raised an eyebrow and the boy nodded his head.

"They don't call me handsome genius for nothing," Eunwoo said with a smug look. "Plus, I dated Xiulan for two years, you come to notice a person's habits during that time period."

"Are you trying to make me jealous?"

"No," he sat back.

Yanjun was curious about their relationship, but he never wanted to ask Scarlett about it herself. He wanted to talk to anyone else about it, but didn't really want to ask Eunwoo about, though it seemed he didn't really have a choice. "When did you two date?"

"Middle of our sophomore year of high school until the end of junior year," he shrugged his shoulders. Yanjun noted how he talked about it with such ease, but also noticed how his eyes seemed to change for a moment.

"Why'd you break up? The two of you seem pretty close so you probably were a really good couple," Yanjun admitted.

"We were, everyone envied us," Eunwoo stated nonchalantly. "But we were also very young and naïve. An old friend of ours convinced the two of us that we were distracting one another so the two of us broke up and tried working on our own things."

"Oh. Sorry."

"It's fine. I'm just glad that I'm still in her life," he nodded his head to Scarlett who was cheering Rui on. "Anyways, being with Xiulan isn't an easy thing. If you're not ready to wait and commit to her, then I suggest stopping now."

"Are you trying to scare me away," Yanjun narrowed his eyes, but the later shook his head.

"No, I'm being honest with you. Xiulan has trust issues and she's been through a lot, she has her walls built so high, higher than my GPA and that's saying something," Eunwoo claimed. "If you're going to be with her, I hope that you like rollercoasters. There will be times when she lets you in and then she'll kick you right out."

"Yeah, I figured that out."

"And how's that going for you?"

"It's irritating, but it's a challenge."

"She'll break your heart."

Yanjun looked to Eunwoo who was silently observing him. "She told me that too."

"Good."

"I'm not going to give up though."

"I know, I don't think you should give up on her," Eunwoo continued. "With you, she's struggling keeping her walls up and I think if you decide to stay longer, those walls will fall."

"Did you have fun," Yanjun asked Scarlett when the two of them were sitting in a cab, once again, on their way back to their hotel.

"Yes," she smiled happily. "Thank you for that, Yanjun. I really appreciate it."

"You're welcome. You own me though," Yanjun stated, with a smirk playing on his lips. He looked over to her and saw she was already watching him, waiting for what she owed him.

"Well?"

"I want you to perform with me at the festival," Yanjun said and Scarlett bit the inside of her cheek. She already had so many plans for the festival and another performance would be so much work for her.

"Okay," she nodded her head even though her mind screamed for her not to. She already had agreed to be in a group with Zhengting and she had her music production project. In addition, one of her classmates from dance class asked to use one of her songs for her performance and she had to finish recording it.

"Really? Maybe I should slip a kiss into the choreography," Yanjun grinned playfully, causing her to slap his arm.

"No way! If we're going to do a dance together we're making the choreography together. I don't trust you," she pointed a finger at his face, but couldn't hide her smile.

"But you trusted me enough to let me blindfold you?"

"And that was a mistake! I hit my head on the top of the car!"

"I think that was your fault," Yanjun looked away, trying not to laugh. Scarlett had yelled at him earlier for the incident, but he enjoyed when she was mad because he thought it was really cute.

"You can sleep in the other room tonight," Scarlett turned away from him with her arms crossed. Yanjun sat straight and his head snapped in her direction.

"You need me."

"No I don't. I can just keep you up with my screaming," she glanced to him.

"Okay. Okay. I'm sorry," he quickly apologized and she nodded, accepting it. "But I don't mind the screaming part. As long as it's my name you're screaming."
