third person povYanjun had barely fallen asleep when he felt a tap on his shoulder. He tried to ignore it, but it came again and he released a low groan.
"What, Zhangjing," Yanjun groaned rubbing his eyes, tiredly.
"I-I'm not Jing-ge."
Yanjun's eyes snapped open and he looked to see Scarlett standing beside his bed with her hands clasped in front of her. He noticed how sleepy she looked and how nervous she seemed.
"Crimson," he said in a raspy voice as he sat up in his bed. "Are you okay? What's-"
"You're really annoying and you're also very weird," Scarlett blurted out pushing a strand of hair from her face as Yanjun looked up at her. "I don't like when other girls flirt with you and I don't like that you so easily make my heart pound in my chest. I want to hit you 91 percent of the time because you have the worst jokes and you say some really inappropriate things."
"91 percent of the time, huh? What's the other 9 percent," Yanjun smirked in the dark, making the girl roll her eyes and cross her arms over her chest.
Is that seriously all he got from what I just said, Scarlett thought.
"You're so annoying," she spoke quietly and leaned down to him.
Yanjun's eyes widened as Scarlett pressed her lips to his own. His heart was hammering in his chest and he didn't know whether or not he was dreaming. Scarlett pulled away from him and bit her lips that tingled from the contact. He was staring at her, now fully awake, but unsure of his consciousness.
"A-Am I dreaming?"
"...No," Scarlett answered, swallowing hard.
"Are you drunk?"
"No."
"Oh," Yanjun nodded, clearing his throat. He ran a hand through his messy hair and turned in his bed to face her. Scarlett wiped her sweaty hand on her shorts again, her nerves weren't disappearing and she started doubting herself.
Maybe he really doesn't like me. Maybe I mis-read the signs.
Just as she was about to speak, Yanjun stopped her, pulling her down to him and pressing his lips to hers. His hand resting on her waist while his other hand cupped her cheek, deepening the kiss. Scarlett melted against Yanjun, his touch made her dizzy and made her heart beat fast like she was running a marathon. She held his shoulders, trying to balance herself, but it was like his kiss sent her tumbling down a hill of flowers.
The two pulled apart, panting for air. They stared at each other in the dark, searching for any signs of regret, but there was none.
Yanjun's hands fell from her, instead, he grabbed her hand and tugged her into the bed with him. The two of them laid down facing one another, Yanjun held her hand and pressed a kiss to it. Scarlett smiled and pushed his hair from his face as she stared at him with adoring eyes.
"You have a strange way of confessing," Yanjun whispered and watched as embarrassment masked her face. She turned her face into the pillow, trying to hide herself only to earn a low chuckle from the male.
"Stop," she whined, peeking at him. His dimples were showing and his eyes were still watching her. She turned her face back to him once she felt her face no longer burning. "It's late. You should get some sleep."
She was about to get out of his bed, but he held her hand a little tighter. Yanjun missed laying beside her the past couple of nights, but it was different now, better because now he was sure that she felt the same way as him.
"Can I please be your boyfriend now?"

"We should wake him now."
"No way. He looks like he had a really good dream."
"Yeah, look how he's hugging his pillow."
"I really pity him. He was muttering about being someone's boyfriend."
"Probably Scarlett's."
"No shit."
"Language, but I really hope Justin comes around so he won't just have to dream about it."
"Yeah," the seven boys all said together, with a long sigh.
"Excuse me, but can you guys get out of the way."
"What? Scarlett, what are you-"
Scarlett walked past the other boys who stood in the doorway and got into the bed with Yanjun. Almost immediately, she switched places with the fluffy pillow and the boys in the doorway all had their jaws on the floor.
"What just happened?"
"I'm so confused."
"Would you guys at least try to be quiet? The garbage trucks are even quieter than you," Yanjun said in his morning voice that sent shivers running down Scarlett's spine.
"Excuse us, but we're shook as fuck. Scarlett just got into bed with you like it was nothing," Chengcheng said motioning his hand to the couple.
"Yeah cause she's my girlfriend so she just so naturally gets into bed with me."
"That doesn't sound right," Scarlett's voice came out muffled as Yanjun pulled her closer to him under the blankets.
"G-Girlfriend," they all repeated in shock.
"Someone go make sure Justin is-"
"I'm right here."
