"Jieqiong is pretty," Scarlett murmured as she and Yanjun went outside to Ruibin's backyard where there was a huge pool that people were splashing in and there was also a dance floor where people were dancing dirty. Scarlett cringed looking their way, but noticed a group of people smoking at a table near the dance floor.

"Sure. I guess," Yanjun muttered looking around. Scarlett's eyes flickered up to him, watching as he carefully looked around trying to find a spot for them to hangout and not have idiots bother them or at least somewhere some guys wouldn't flirt with Scarlett.

He didn't want to be at the party because he wasn't into it. He went to parties often before, but he didn't feel the need to go to them anymore. He'd rather stay home and watch a movie with his friends and Scarlett which is what they usually did on Saturday nights.

"Do you like her," Scarlett asked.

Yanjun raised an eyebrow and looked down at her to see her biting her lip and avoiding him. A smirk settled on his lips and he turned his body to her, pulling her closer to him. He released her hand and instead placed it on her waist before leaning down and whispering, "of course not, Crimson. The only girl for me is you."

"H-Hey, stop that," she stuttered, blushing and tried to pull herself away from him, but didn't try too hard cause truth be told, she liked how he held her.

"God, you're adorable," he chuckled and stood straight, still keeping the girl close to him. The two of them ended up staying in their place, quietly speaking to one another about random things. No one bothered them until a certain someone stumbled over to them.

"H-hey, guys. Did you try the-the juice they have here? It's really...w-weird," the boy hiccuped standing beside the two who blinked at him in amazement.

"Oh my god," Scarlett said pulling away from Yanjun and grabbed the boy by the arm. "How did you-why did you keep drinking it if it tasted weird?"

"They k-kept handing red cups to me and...and I was really th-thirsty," the boy replied and Scarlett's eyes flickered to Yanjun who had his eyebrows furrowed.

"I'm sure the others had a drink or two, I'll drive them home. Take him home please," Scarlett said and before Yanjun could get a word out, she was gone.

"So are you two dating yet or am I still your boyfriend?"

"Kunkun," Scarlett yelled over the music as she weaved through the crowd of people dancing. She had found Linkai who was getting Ziyi so that they could leave, but was looking for Xukun.

When she found him, he was dancing around a bunch of girls who were giggling and dancing against each other. She pushed her way through, earning glares from the other girls, but finally reached the blonde boy.

"Kunkun," she said, grabbing him by the shoulder.

"Scarlett, what's up? Where's Yanjun," he stopped dancing and turned to her. He noticed some girls about to pounce on her and wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her towards him.

"Zhangjing drank too much. We need to get going," Scarlett informed. His eyes widened in surprise, but he nodded his head and let her go, instead he grabbed her hand and led her out of the crowd.

"I didn't expect him to drink," he said releasing her hand and the duo made their way through the house and to the front door.

"He accidentally drank. He thought it was juice," Scarlett replied, shaking her head as they exited the house to see a large group of people out front on the lawn. "What the hell is that?"

"Scarlett!"

"Jiejie," someone called.

Ziyi and Linkai were running towards her with pale faces and sweat running down their foreheads.

"What's going on? Where's Zhangjun?"

"Jing-ge is in the car. B-"

"Come on," Linkai cut Ziyi off and grabbed Scarlett's hand, pulling her to the large group of people. He weaved through the crowd, holding onto her so she wouldn't get lost.

When they reached the middle, Scarlett saw Yanjun and some other boy fighting. Yanjun had blood on his face, but the other boy looked a lot worse. The other boy was on the floor while Yanjun had a fist full of his shirt and was bent over him.

"We tried to stop him, but he won't listen to us."

"Yanjun," Scarlett screamed running to him. She placed a hand on his shoulder, but he wasn't looking at her. He was angrily glaring into the eyes of the other boy, his other fist drawn back, ready to punch him. "Yanjun, stop it. Stop right now."

"Get off me, Scarlett," he said, gaze unwavering. "He deserves this."

"Yanjun, I'm telling you to stop right now. I'm serious," Scarlett said and Yanjun's jaw clenched. The bloody boy was smiling even though he was beat to a pulp. "Yanjun..."

He glanced over to see the girl who was only looking at him. He sighed, looking back to the boy before releasing him and letting him fall onto the green grass. "Next time I won't hesitate to beat the living crap out of you."

Yanjun stood straight to walk away with Scarlett, but she was already leaving with the other boys behind her. They looked back at him with sorry looks as she glanced over her shoulder at him and shook her head.

"Crimson," he called going after her, but she quickly got to Ziyi's car. She didn't even look at him and went straight into the car, sitting in the driver's seat. She quickly started the car and drove off.
