"Mitchyyyy!" Scott called out from the couch. "Yeahhhh?" Mitch replied from their room, copying his tone. "I'm bored!" Scott said. "What do you want me to do about it?" Mitch asked. "Let's do something today instead of just sitting at home!" Scott suggested. "Okay. What do you want to do?" Mitch asked, walking downstairs so he wouldn't have to shout. Scott looked at him over the back of the couch. "I was thinking we could go get Starbucks and then take a walk in the park." Mitch thought it over for a bit before speaking. "That sounds great," he agreed. Then he disappeared up the stairs to get ready.

Scott smiled to himself and scrolled through his phone while waiting for Mitch. Soon, Mitch came back down the stairs and said, "Okay. I'm ready to go." Scott stood up from the couch and put on his shoes by the door. Then he opened the door for Mitch and let him go first. He grabbed his keys on the way out and once he got out, he closed the door behind him, locking it. He intertwined his fingers with Mitch's as they began the 10-minute walk to Starbucks. They ordered their drinks and got them. Then they started heading towards the park, cups in the hands that weren't locked together.

They talked and sipped their coffee as they walked through the park and looked around at the scenery. "Wow. Everything is so beautiful." Mitch commented. Scott smiled and said, "Not as beautiful as you." Mitch started blushing like crazy and scoffed. "You're such a dork," he teased. Scott laughed at his remark. "Don't act like you don't love it." Mitch just rolled his eyes and took another sip of his coffee.

After a while, they finished their coffee and threw the cups away in a nearby trash can. They continued walking hand in hand through the park. Suddenly, the sky darkened and people started leaving. Scott looked up. "Shit...." he muttered. Mitch heard him and looked up too. Rain clouds were starting to form. "Scotty, I think it's going to rain." Mitch said. Scott nodded. "Yup," he agreed. "Should we just go home?" Mitch asked, looking over at Scott. Scott was silent for a moment, but then he got a mischievous smirk on his face.

"Why do you have that look on your face?" Mitch asked warily. Scott didn't answer him. He just started smiling even bigger. The rain started pouring harder. "There's something I've always wanted to do...." Scott said. Mitch raised an eyebrow at him. "And what's that?" he asked, curious about what Scott was thinking. "I've always wanted to kiss in the rain and slow dance like in those cheesy romance movies." Scott answered him. "Are you crazy? Momma does not want to get herself even more soaked than she already is," Mitch sassed.

"Come on, Mitchy. After we do it we can go home and change and watch movies. Does that sound good?" Scott suggested. Mitch thought about it for a few seconds and gave in. "Fine, but just because I'm nice." Scott put his arms up in victory. "Yay!" he exclaimed. Mitch just laughed and shook his head. "You're such a child."

They had gone under a tree, trying to stay out of the rain as much as possible. Soon, Scott ran out into the rain and let go of Mitch's hand. He started dancing around and making Mitch laugh. Mitch was still under the tree watching him. "Baby, come dance with me!" Scott called out, waving Mitch over. "No. I'm already wet enough!" Mitch protested. "Please?" Scott urged, pouting at Mitch with puppy dog eyes. "You know I can't resist that face," Mitch said, walking over.

They danced around like children in the rain for a little bit until Scott decided he wanted to slow it down. He stopped dancing and turned to Mitch, holding out his hand. "May I have this dance?" he asked with a shy smile and a slight blush on his cheeks. Mitch smiled back at him and took his hand. "Yes," Scott smiled again and gently pulled Mitch closer. He put one hand on the small of Mitch's back and held Mitch's hand with the other. Mitch draped one arm around Scott's shoulder and rested his hand in between his shoulder blades.

Mitch suddenly felt himself being dipped a little. "Scott!" he exclaimed. Scott giggled. "Don't worry, baby. I've got you," he said. They slow danced in the rain for a few more minutes before one of them spoke again. "Mitchy?" Scott said softly. Mitch hummed in response. "I love you." Mitch straightened up and smiled up at Scott. "I love you too," he replied.
