**A/N: Oh hey they're married in this one too
Scott and Mitch were cuddling in bed after being at the studio almost all day. Scott was watching TV, while Mitch was looking down at Scott's wedding band, thinking about the night there was a snowstorm in LA, which was also the night Scott proposed.
"Babe?" Mitch said. "Yeah, hon?" Scott replied. "Remember that one night a year ago when we were still dating and there was a snowstorm in LA?" Mitch asked. "The night I proposed?" Scott asked. "Yeah, that one," Mitch answered. "Of course. What about it?" Scott responded. "I was just thinking about it and wondering how I got so lucky," Mitch said, picking Scott's left hand up and running his index finger over the silver ring that permanently rested on Scott's ring finger and guaranteed that the "together forever" phrase would apply to the two men for as long as they lived.
(December 17, 2014):
Mitch had come home early from work to his and Scott's apartment one day to hang out and have a little night in with his boyfriend of three years. It was freezing outside, and he could barely feel his hands by the time he went up to the front door and unlocked it, even with gloves on. Once he had gotten it open after fumbling with the keys in his cold hands, Scott looked over at him from the couch and noticed how cold he was, standing up and rushing over to quickly usher him further inside to get him warm.
Mitch walked inside and Scott closed the door behind him, rushing over to him. "Here, baby. Let me help you," he said as he gently took Mitch's bag from him, setting it on the floor while Mitch took his boots off. He then helped Mitch take his coat, hat, gloves, and scarf off. As he removed Mitch's gloves, he felt how cold his hands were and gasped. "Baby, your hands are freezing. How did you manage to not lose feeling in them with those thin gloves?" he said, taking one of Mitch's hands in both of his and rubbing it between his palms to warm it up.
He repeated the process with the other hand and kept going back and forth between them. Mitch shrugged. "I have no idea. For the record, I just had these gloves in my bag and I wanted to hurry up and get home," he answered.
Scott then directed Mitch to sit down on the couch while he grabbed some blankets for both of them to use while they cuddled. He found some thick ones and brought them over. He then draped one over Mitch's body and sat down next to him, draping one over himself.
"Give me your hands," Scott instructed, turning to face Mitch. Mitch turned his body to face Scott and did so. Scott gently took them and placed them in his hoodie pockets. Mitch raised an eyebrow at him. "This is your way of warming up my hands?" he asked, giggling a bit.
Scott shrugged. "It's better than those thin-ass gloves you were wearing when you came home. I'm surprised you still had feeling left in your hands," he teased. Mitch smiled and rolled his eyes at his dorky, but cute, boyfriend and leaned over to peck his lips.
When Scott had held Mitch's hands in his hoodie pockets for a while, he gently took them out and let go of them. "I'm still cold," Mitch said. "Then come here," Scott replied, pushing his blanket down to his hips and shifting sideways to lay down on his back. Thankfully, it was a long blanket, so it covered his entire body when unfolded.
Mitch pushed his blanket off and crawled on top of Scott, working his way under the blanket that was over Scott's body. Scott bent his knees so his feet were resting flat on the couch cushion. Mitch put his lower half between Scott's legs and scooted up to rest his head on Scott's chest, wrapping his arms around it. Once Mitch was settled, Scott reached down and pulled the blanket back up and over Mitch's back and wrapped his arms around Mitch's waist. "You're warm," Mitch mumbled. Scott giggled. "Thanks, sweetheart," he replied. Soon, both boys had fallen asleep.
