Scott and Mitch were on the way back to LA from their final show venue of tour. Scott was reading a book and listening to music through headphones, holding the book open with one hand and holding Mitch's hand with the other. Mitch was watching Spongebob on the TV on the back of the seat in front of him with his headphones plugged into the connected headphone jack on the arm of his seat, his right hand on top of Scott's left palm. They sat in a comfortable silence, fingers laced together as they waited for their plane to land at LAX.
Soon, the captain's voice came onto the speakers and Scott took out one earbud to listen to what he was saying, nudging Mitch to tell him to do the same. "Attention everyone. We will be landing shortly. Please fasten your seatbelts and adjust your seats to the upright position. Thank you." They did so and started talking as they prepared for landing, Scott no longer paying attention to his book and Mitch no longer paying attention to the TV. "I'm gonna do another little vlog thing after we land and get out of this plane," Mitch said.
Before they had left for their first stop, Mitch had insisted on bringing their camera that they used for Superfruit videos so he could film little vlogs throughout tour and compile them together later to upload on the channel. It would be a long video, but they hadn't found time to film a video and upload it in a few weeks since they were preparing for tour, so he figured a long vlog would make up for it. "Do whatever you want, babe," Scott replied. Then the captain came back on the intercom. "We have now landed in Los Angeles. Be sure to grab all your belongings and exit the plane safely. Thank you for flying with us."
Scott stood up to grab his and Mitch's carry on bags while Mitch stood up to stretch his limbs. Scott handed Mitch his bag before grabbing his own and checking the overhead compartment again to make sure they didn't leave anything behind. They then walked off the plane with all the other passengers to the baggage claim area, where they waited for their luggage. Once they got it, they went out to their car and Scott loaded everything into the trunk as Mitch got in. After getting it all in, he huffed and closed the trunk before getting into the car on the driver's side. "Thanks for the help," he teased, a little out of breath. Instead of replying, Mitch just leaned forward and placed his hands on Scott's cheeks, giving him a quick kiss on the lips.
He then took out their camera and turned it on, beginning to film as Scott started the ignition and began driving back to their house. "Hey guys! So we're back in LA now and Scotty over here is driving us home. I just want to say thank you guys so much for coming out to see us perform on this tour. It really means a lot to not just me and Scott, but the whole band and the crew." Then Scott spoke up, his eyes still focused on the road, and Mitch moved the camera closer to him. "Yeah, we love meeting all of you and performing for you. We're so grateful that we're able to put on these shows, and it's all because of you guys. We had so much fun at every single show and we wouldn't have been able to do this if it wasn't for all of you who love our music and continuously come out to support us, so thank you."
Mitch was smiling now. "Aww, you're the sweetest, baby. Anyway, I'm gonna turn off the camera now, and I'll talk to you guys when we get home. Love you!" He then blew a kiss to the camera and stopped filming. Scott put his hand palm-up on the console and Mitch put his hand in Scott's, letting it wrap around his own. Scott smiled and brought their joined hands up to kiss the back of Mitch's before bringing them back down and driving the rest of the way home.
Once they had gotten back to their house, they took their bags out of the trunk and carried them to the door. Scott unlocked the door and opened it a little before picking up his bags, pushing the door the rest of the way open with his foot. He walked inside with Mitch following and Mitch kicked the door shut, setting his bags down and locking it behind himself. He then turned on the lights and pulled the camera back out to film again as Scott disappeared upstairs with his bags.
