Scott, Mitch, and the rest of Pentatonix had been invited to attend the Grammy Awards the upcoming weekend. They were currently being fitted for their outfits by Candice, their stylist. She was picking out suits for the boys and the perfect outfit for Kirstie. She had them try on everything she picked out to see what looked best, and figured out whether she would need to have some garments tailored or not.

Scott and Mitch shared a dressing room, which they both liked because Scott got to see previews of Mitch's outfits before Candice did, since he sat in there with him. Mitch liked it because he liked the compliments Scott gave him. There wasn't one outfit that Mitch could try on and show Scott without getting a "you look beautiful" or "stunning" or any positive feedback from him.

After a few hours of trying on outfits and Candice choosing different garments, the group was done and she dismissed them. Scott and Mitch got in their car and started heading back to their house. Once they got back, they got out of the car, shut the doors, and Scott locked it. They walked up to their house and Scott unlocked the front door, opening it and walking inside with Mitch behind him.

"I still can't believe we got invited to the Grammy's, one of the biggest award ceremonies of the year!" Mitch exclaimed as they walked upstairs to their room and he flopped down onto their bed. "I know, right? Imagine if we got nominated for one, or even won one," Scott replied, settling on his side next to him on one elbow. He looked down at Mitch's face for a second before leaning down and giving him a quick kiss on the lips.

They laid together on top of the covers for a while longer, cuddling, talking, and kissing a little bit until they wanted to get ready for bed. Once they were done and settled in bed, they stayed up just enough to kiss each other goodnight before they fell asleep snuggled together, their bodies fitting perfectly with each other.

The next day, and for the rest of the week, their mornings were spent at home in bed like normal, full of soft words, kisses, and cuddles. They were peaceful, the only sound in the room being the slight rustling of the sheets and their voices as they shifted to cuddle more comfortably and talk.

There were some days where they didn't quite want to get up yet, so they either slept some more or just lay around until close to noon before finally deciding to get themselves out of the warmth of their bed. More kisses and longer cuddle sessions often took place during these mornings, and they wouldn't want it any other way.

Soon, the weekend of the Grammy's rolled around, and when Mitch woke up the day of, he basically pounced on Scott in his excitement and woke him up. Scott groaned in annoyance at the impact. "Mitch, what have I told you about-" Scott started. "It's Grammy's day," Mitch interrupted, cutting him off. Scott was silent for a minute or two. "Wha-" he started again. "It's Grammy's day!" Mitch repeated. Then the realization hit Scott, making him shoot up in bed. "Oh my god!" he exclaimed. Then he looked over at Mitch.

"Oh my god!" he repeated, throwing the covers off of him and standing up. "Don't worry, babe. We don't need to be anywhere until the actual ceremony tonight," Mitch said. "I know, but still, it's exciting," Scott replied. "At least we don't need to figure out the outfits ourselves. Candice texted and said she'll send our outfits over to the house," Mitch said. "Oh, okay. That's good," Scott responded as he walked out of their bedroom, Mitch behind him.

They went downstairs and Scott went to sit on the couch while Mitch made a detour into the kitchen to make some coffee. He filled a cup with some water and poured it into the water compartment of the coffee maker. Then he opened the cabinet and looked at all their powdered coffee flavors. "What flavor do you want today, babe?" he asked. "Uhhh, I'm okay with whatever," Scott answered.

Mitch looked through the cabinet before deciding on hazelnut flavored ground coffee. He grabbed a coffee filter and placed it into the top of the maker and scooping the right amount of coffee grounds. He dumped the grounds into the filter and closed the top of the coffee maker, pressing the button to start brewing the coffee. As it was brewing, he opened another cabinet and grabbed their matching set of Sesame Street mugs, having to stand up on his toes to reach them. Once he grabbed them, he set them down on the counter and closed the cabinet.
