**A/N: I don't usually put A/N's at the beginning of a story, but they're married in this one, cause I thought it would be cute hehe

Scott and Mitch were decorating their house for Christmas. Scott was currently working on getting the tree put together and fluffed out. "Mitchy, come help me!" he called. "I'm working on the mantle," Mitch replied, his back turned. "When you're done, can you help me fluff this tree out?" Scott asked. "Yeah, sure," Mitch answered.

Mitch finished up the mantle and took a step back to review his work before nodding his head in satisfaction. He then walked over to where Scott was working on fluffing out the top of the tree. "Baby, can you help fluff out the bottom and some of the middle, please?" Scott asked. Mitch nodded and kneeled down to start working on the bottom of the tree.

"Scotty, this hurts," Mitch said. Scott giggled. "I know it scratches a little bit, but after doing it for a while, it doesn't bother you much anymore," he said. Scott finished up the top half of the tree and then sat cross-legged on the floor to help Mitch finish the bottom half. Soon, they finished fluffing out the tree. "I'll go get the ornaments," Scott said, standing up and walking to the garage. He opened the door and went inside.

Mitch watched from where he was sitting on the floor as Scott lifted the bin of ornaments with ease and carried it into the living room. "My strong man," he commented. Scott smiled and rolled his eyes. He then set the bin down and pulled the lid off. "Well, let's have at it," he said, gesturing toward the boxes of ornaments.

Mitch stood up and walked over to the bin, pulling out a box of blue and silver ornaments while Scott pulled out a box of red ones. He took one out and placed it on one of the tree branches. He continued to place them around the tree until he was out, Scott doing the same. He was looking for another box when he noticed that Scott was just looking down at an ornament and smiling.

"What ornament is that, babe?" Mitch asked. Scott looked up, walked over, and showed him. It was an ornament shaped like two candy canes forming a heart and there was a picture of Scott and Mitch kissing in their dimly-lit living room, both wrapped in lights.

"Oh my god," Mitch whispered, taking the ornament into his hands

"Oh my god," Mitch whispered, taking the ornament into his hands. "This is from our first Christmas together as a married couple, about a year ago!" he exclaimed. "Yup," Scott replied softly.

"When did you get this ornament?" Mitch asked. "The other day, actually," Scott answered. Mitch looked up at him confused. "While you were out Christmas shopping, I found this picture, had it copied and resized, and placed in an ornament," he explained. "Scott," Mitch said, looking down at the picture and then back up at Scott. "Put it up, sweetheart," Scott said. Mitch nodded and walked over to the tree, placing the ornament front and center. "Perfect," Scott commented quietly.

They put up the rest of the ornaments that they wanted to and stood back to look at their beautiful, colorful tree. Most of the ornaments were simple baubles, but there were some figural ones, such as a Sphynx cat one and a few food ones, like a strawberry and a slice of watermelon. Scott wrapped his arms around Mitch's waist from behind. Mitch leaned back into Scott's chest and looked up at him. He looked beautiful. His eyes were shining their bright blue color, and the gold lights on the tree lit up his features very nicely. Scott looked down to find Mitch staring up at him. "What?" he asked. Mitch quickly looked away. "Sorry, you're just beautiful," he mumbled. "That's okay, you're even more beautiful," Scott responded.
