Cuddling

Scott and Mitch loved to cuddle with each other. Any time they got the opportunity to, they would take it. At home in their bed, on the couch, in Scott's bunk in the tour bus, almost anywhere they were able to sit or lay down. They had several different cuddling positions, too. Spooning, chest-to-chest, one's head on the other's shoulder, the list goes on. Their favorite times to cuddle were in bed in the early morning or late at night. At these times, they could just lay there wrapped in each other's arms, not a care in the world.

Spooning was the most common position they would do. Almost every night in bed they would fall asleep that way, Mitch's back pressed against Scott's bare chest and Scott's arms wrapped around Mitch's body. Mitch would twist his torso around so Scott could kiss his lips before twisting back around and pressing himself further into Scott's chest to be completely enveloped in his warmth. "Night, baby. I love you," Scott would say every night before gently kissing behind Mitch's ear. "I love you too," Mitch would reply, both of them soon falling asleep.

Another way they cuddled often was chest-to-chest. They would lay like this when it was cold and rainy outside, wanting nothing but to cuddle with each other and never leave the bed. They were eye-to-eye with each other and snuggled up under the thick comforter, legs tangled together and Scott's arm over Mitch's waist. They just laid there cuddling, kissing, or sometimes a mix of both. In the peace and quiet of their bedroom, they would lay there enjoying the moment, the only light in the room coming from the gloomy day through their window. They'd end up falling asleep on and off, all the while never leaving the other's side.

One of Mitch's favorite positions was when they would be sitting on the couch watching TV. He would be sitting next to Scott with his legs folded underneath himself on the couch, leaning into Scott's side as he rested his head on Scott's shoulder and rested a hand on Scott's stomach. Scott would put a protective arm around Mitch's shoulders and pull him into his side, kissing his head every now and then as they watched the screen.

One mutual favorite between the two was when their roles reversed and Scott would rest his head on Mitch's chest and either lay next to him or between his legs. They did this one when Scott wasn't feeling well and just wanted to be held. So that's what Mitch would do. As Scott would get settled with his head on Mitch's chest, tucked right under his chin, Mitch would put his arms around Scott's body and just hold him, playing with his hair until Scott fell asleep.

One of the more casual positions they did was when one would lay on his back and the other would lay half on his back, half on his side with his head in the space between the other's neck and shoulder. The latter would have his arms lazily draped around the former's waist and the former would have his arms around the latter's shoulders, supporting his head. They did this one usually when they were relaxing backstage before or after a show. They would talk quietly amongst themselves, completely unaware of Kevin filming them to tease the fans.

Another mutual favorite of theirs was when they were laying somewhere that wasn't very deep, like the couch. Mitch would be laying on top of Scott with his legs between Scott's legs, which were bent up so his feet could lay flat on the surface. Scott would then lift his body up so Mitch could snake his arms around his waist, reciprocating the action after he did so. This was usually done when Mitch needed some extra sleep. It would start with just Mitch going to sleep as Scott rubbed his back and kissed his head, but almost always ended with both boys falling asleep.

This next one they only did on occasion. They would be laying under the covers in bed together after a long day of press, recording, or other work-related tasks. The room would be completely dark and quiet except for the light and faint noise from the TV. Scott would lay flat on his back while Mitch laid on his side, cuddled into Scott's side. Scott would put an arm around Mitch's shoulders while Mitch would put a hand on Scott's chest and his head on Scott's shoulder. This way, they could see the TV screen better. As they fell asleep, Scott would turn his head to kiss Mitch's head before they both drifted off.

This next position was the one they did the most often. They would be laying face-to-face in bed chatting about their day to pass the time before they went to sleep. Most of the things they talked about were the same because they were together the whole day, so they ended up laughing about things that had happened, even if they weren't that funny. In their tired state, though, everything was funny. Eventually, Mitch would scoot himself closer to Scott and bury his face into his chest. Scott would put an arm over Mitch's body and pull him closer as he tangled his legs with Mitch's legs. Then he would nuzzle his face into Mitch's hair and leave it there, kissing his head and mumbling a sleepy "I love you" as he closed his eyes. Mitch would take his face out of his boyfriend's chest and lean up to nudge his nose with his own, earning a sleepy "hmm?" before saying "I love you more" and giving him eskimo kisses. Then he would kiss him goodnight, Scott softly and lazily kissing back before they pulled apart and he fell asleep, Mitch not far behind him.

Another one of Mitch's favorites usually happened when they would be on the couch either talking with friends and family or watching TV. This one was done when Scott was just drained and exhausted from the day's activities. Mitch would sit on one end of the couch while Scott laid across it, his head in Mitch's lap. He would fade in and out of sleep as Mitch combed his fingers through his hair, the gentle touch relaxing him. He would still listen to what others were saying or pay attention to the TV screen, depending on what they were doing. The reason this was one of Mitch's favorites, though, was because Scott always fell asleep at some point and he loved to look down and silently admire the blond beauty sleeping on his lap. He would smile to himself as Scott would roll over and bury his face in Mitch's stomach. "My beautiful sleepy boy," he would whisper, not caring if any of their friends or family heard him, as he leaned down to very lightly kiss Scott's cheek before straightening back up and continuing to play with his hair as he resumed watching the screen or talking with others.

And finally, this last position was one of Scott's favorites. They would cuddle chest-to-chest for a while before Scott pushed Mitch over onto his back. Then he would move closer and nuzzle his face into the side of Mitch's neck, lazily draping one of his arms over Mitch's waist and throwing one of his long legs over both of Mitch's. He would pepper little kisses over Mitch's jaw, his kisses acting as a tiny way to say "I love you." Mitch would reach his free arm up to run his fingers through Scott's hair, relaxing him and putting him to sleep. As Scott was drifting off, he would hum softly at the feeling of Mitch's hand in his hair. After a while, his breathing would even out and his grip on Mitch would loosen, meaning he was fully asleep. He was even snoring a little bit. Mitch would just smile lovingly at this and stop playing with Scott's hair, resting his hand over Scott's arm and using his slow, deep breathing and soft snores to help himself fall asleep.

All these different types of cuddles happened on a regular basis, mostly used when they were going to sleep. It was one of their many ways of showing affection. It also brought them both comfort, since their bodies fit so perfectly together. They made sure to never skip a night of their warm, loving cuddles, falling asleep in new positions every single night.
