I woke up to a note on the table that said going to work. Xxo Zayn.
Well that's a way to start the morning I guess. It hit me about last night. We said we loved each other. I actually felt something similar to when we first dated. I decided after showering, brushing my teeth, and getting dressed, that I'd meet up with Darren at the old cafe.
I walked across the street and some over to the cafe. I saw Darren sitting in a table with mariah. I joined them.
"Hey guys!" I said
"Whatsup." Said Darren
Mariah said hi
"So, get on with your story lex."
Darren sighed
"Oh right! After we kissed like we used to, he told me he loved me! We said we'd make it just us this time. I really think this is different." I enthused
"You always say that." Darren said
"Don't be a poor sport and just be happy for me. For once I mean Jesus Darren." I said angrily
"You're right you're right. I'm sorry okay?"
"So are you guys official now?" Mariah asks
"I really don't know. I think we're on our way."
"Well it won't be long until the paps bugger in on your business and find out." Darren said
"They didn't find out last time?" Mariah questioned
"Yeah cause she had to lie about the relationship. What about this time lex? Is that part different? Do you actually get to be a part of reality instead of hiding in the fucking living room getting smacked around?!" Darren shouts
"Darren! He didn't mean it lex. Don't listen to him he's just still so very upset with your Zayn." Mariah exclaimed
"Yeah. I get it. Darren he's really a good guy when you get to know him. " I try to reassure him
"Yeah that's how it always goes isn't it lex?"
"I guess so."
"So on a happier note I think we should celebrate lex!" Mariah exclaims
"Celebrate what?" I'm confused
"Uh duh?! The fact that you're happy and together with somebody who makes you happy?!"
Darren rolls his eyes and shakes his head.
"How so?"
"Clubbbbinnnnng!!" Mariah sings aloud
"Shhsh!" Darren says irritated
I laugh. "Well I guess that's pretty fun.."
"Pretty fun? Uh that used to be your favourite thing to do before you got held down."
