FRIDAY I PATIENTLY WAITED for Nikki, Herman, Lola and Emma.

Yesterday I got a call from Nikki. She was crying and told me she secretly followed them when they went home and she heard them say mean stuff about her and me. They also said that I was an attention whore and they never really liked me. They also said that Nikki was so ugly and that made her really insecure.

She said that I don't have to be mean to them now but when you talk about me and my best friend behind our back I am. Especially when we thought they where friends.

'hey' Ellie opened the door

'ello mate' I said in my British accent

'so how are you?' she asked while grabbing the paper she always fills in

'tired and cold' I stated

'okay' she chuckled and filled that in

'is anyone coming today? I haven't seen your parents in 2 days'

'my mom had an emotional break down yesterday so now she's resting from that' I smiled

'you weren't kidding when you said that she was emotionally stable like an Ikea table' she chuckled and I shake my head

'anyway some' I stopped 'friends' I mumbled 'come over today'

'okay, well I'll see you at dinner' she then leaves the room. Everyday she brings my dinner. It's really awful here so Jack and I usually eat snacks his or my friends sneaked in.

'hey Ava' Lola opens her door and I crack a fake smile.

'how are you' Herman asks and he gives me a hug

'good, well tired and cold but I'm good' I gave them all a hug

'hey nik, how are you' I say overdramatic

'good' she gives me a long hug

'so you're bald' Emma mumbles and I nod

'yeah I shaved it off' I nodded as they sat on the couch

'not because of the chemo?' Herman frowned

'well my hair started falling out so I thought why not shave it off immediately' I told them.

Right now I was acting. Some people say I'm really good at it, in moments like these it comes in handy.

My plan is that I'll first wait and when an awkward silence falls I'll start dropping hints.

'that's so cool' Lola smiled

'yeah a lot of people tell me' I shrug 'all right, how is school'

'boring now you aren't there' Emma says and I see Nikki rolling her eyes in the corner of my eye

'really? why didn't you come visit me earlier' I smiled. Hint number one.

'yeah sorry about that we where just really busy' Emma said

'to prepare your knife' I smiled. You know, to stab me in the back.

'what?' Herman chuckles awkwardly

'oh sorry. I just was surprised since Nikki did come here often and you all just' I shrugged 'didn't even call'

I kept smiling innocent the whole time

'Ava you don't need to' Nikki grabbed my hand and I looked at her

'what? I'm just asking my friends why they didn't come visit me in the two weeks I was in the hospital because I have cancer' I say innocent

'Ava, we just had a lot tests and our parents forced us to study. We're really sorry' Emma said

'really' I put my hand on my heart 'I appreciate it' I added sarcastically

'anyway how is living here working out' Herman stood up and walked around the room

'fine' I shrugged not looking at him

'aren't you going to look at me?' I knew he was frowning right now

'why? Aren't you used to talking behind my back' I turned around

'sorry what?' he scoffed

'you heard me' I smiled

'I'm not talking behind your back' he exclaimed

'of course you're not' I turned back around looking at Nikki who was looking down

'are you okay Nik, you haven't said much today' Lola asked Nikki

'surprise surprise' I mumbled chuckling

'ava what is going on?' Emma snapped

'oh I'm sorry did my back hurt your knife?' I quoted Friends

'we're not doing anything wrong' Herman exclaimed

'right because saying that Nikki is ugly and that I'm an attention whore behind our back is so nice of you' I said sarcastically

'we didn't say that' Lola told me

'I heard you guys' Nikki finally said something

'what do you mean?' Herman asked again

'I followed you home because i got suspicious and i heard you guys talking about us' she was almost crying

'we would ne-'

'of cut the crap, she fucking heard you. how many more evidence do you need' I cut Lola off

'and you didn't so why are you believe her and not us' Emma raised her eyebrow

'because I've known Nikki for much longer that I've known you an di know that I can trust her. you have always been the gossipy type that no one trusts. You are lucky you even have us, and guess what? You lost us' I snapped

'what a loss' Herman said sarcastically

'yeah, what a loss' I imitated him

'girl we're going' Herman and the twins stood up

'congratulations, that's quite a waste of time' I quoted friends again

'bye Ava' Lola yelled

'bye bitch' I mumbled and she then closed the door

'why did you do that' Nikki looked up

'because we are better off without them' I sat down next to her

'but now I have no one' she looked up

'Nikki, if I was in your place I rather had no one than fake friends' I grabbed her face

'touché' she shrugged

'come here' I pulled her in a hug since she was incredibly sad

'I can't believe they would do that' she mumbled

'I can't either, but they did and therefor they don't deserve such a good friend' I kissed her head

'thanks' she mumbled

'thank for telling me what they did'
