THE NEXT DAY WAS extra special because my mom and dad went with us. Nikki and me where going to try on wedding dresses.

I know the one thing my dad wanted was too see me get married. And because this is the closest I could get I took him and my mom.

As expected they got really emotional. Even my dad cried, which made me cry, and eventually almost everyone cried. Except Brian but he's just an emotionless person.

When we got back I took a long nap because tonight me, Jack, Nikki and Brian will pull an all-nighter. When I was sleeping they got a lot of food and a lot of coke because that's my favorite drink.

'so Ava' Missy sat down on my bed, 'we will be down stairs tonight so if there is anything just send Jack down stairs to get me'

'thank you' I smiled and then pulled her in a hug. 'for everything, you really are special'

'ava you'll always be my sunshine' she mumbled, planted a kiss on my cheek and then went away.

As usual I changed in yoga pants and a huge sweater. I put on a beanie and went down stairs where everyone already was.

'so you ready' I leaned against the wall

'is that even a question' Nikki stood up just like Jack and Brian. We went upstairs, put all of the food on the floor and sat around it. I leaned against my bed just like Nikki who had her head on my shoulder. Brian and Jack sat on the other side.

Brian was eating some chips while Jack was playing with the slime I had next to my bed since I think slime is very satisfying.

'guys this is the second to last thing on the list' I mumbled

'tomorrow we'll do the last thing' Jack mumbled

'what will you do then?' Nikki looks up

'die' I shrug 'I mean wait until I die. There is nothing I can really do beside that'

'I'm staying with you the whole time' Jack told me

'you don't have to, you can go-'

'I promised to you that I will be there until your last minute so that's what I'll do' he cut me off and I smiled

'I don't know what I'll do when you're not here' Brian mumbled looking down

'live on' I nodded and he looks up

'how?'

'you can be sad and cry but not to long. You have this whole life in front of you, you need to live the best you can' I tried to smile as much as I can.

I know that it's weird that the person who's dying keeps smiling but I just need to be strong or them. And besides that I made my peace with dying, I'm fulfilling my last wish. I don't think I'll live long after that. I'm feeling more and more tired and sick every day. I can basically feel the cancer growing.

'that goes for all of you' I look at Jack and then at Nikki. 'you will go on and eventually look back with a smile.'

'but I'm going to miss you so much' Nikki whispers with a big lump in her throat

'and I'm going to miss you too' I put my arm around her. 'but someday you'll meet another amazing girl who will be your best friend. and you don't need to feel bad for making a new friend because I will be proud of you. I will always be proud of you, always. no matter what you will do, I will always be proud of you.'

'I love you Ava' she cried a little

'I love you too'

'there will come a day when we can't be together but just keep me in your heart and I'll stay there forever' I mumbled

'that little bear is fucking inspiring' Jack whispered and I laughed.

'Ava I fell in love with you the way you fall asleep; slowly, and then all at once' Jack grabs my hand

'the fault in our stars' I smiled

'you know when that moment was?' his eyes fill with tears

'no'

'the moment that we went down stairs to get a snack for the first time. I remember that we were talking and I just couldn't stop thinking about how beautiful you are. And I maybe now knew it then but I fell in love you, right there with a Nuts in my hand.'

I laughed and pulled him closer to me.

'jack no matter where you are or what you're doing, or who you're with, I will always, honestly, truly, completely love you' I pressed a kiss on his head

'ava' Brian said and I looked up to him

'what sup brother' I smiled and grabbed his hand

'do you remember when I got into my first fight ever and you made me promise you that I will never end up in the hospital' he mumbled

'yeah I do' I smile

'well now you did' he scoffed and I smile

'you still have to hold that promise. Or I'll hunt you're little hospitalized ass forever' I say and he laughs

A silence fell but it wasn't bad. Nikki had her arms wrapped around me, Jack laid against me and I held Brian's hand.

'thank you guys for making my last wish happen' I whisper

'of course' Nikki mumbled

'anything for my little sister' Brian smiled

'you're wish is my wish'
