TODAY WAS JACK'S OPERATION. I now am n his room, together with both his parents which are really nice by the way. We're all waiting on the nurses to come and get him.

'so are you nervous?' I asked while playing with Jack's hands.

'of course' he shrugged 'but I'll be fine so yeah'.

'I know' I looked at him. I am still really tired and rather be asleep right now but I want to be with Jack. even though this is a small operation it's still an operation.

'are you?' he asked and went with his hand over the side of my face.

'of course, I want you to be healing and go home' I smile and he smiles back.

'I actually can't want to go home and sleep in my own bed again' he smiles while looking up.

'woah woah, don't get your hopes to high' his dad says.

'why not? There's no bad thing about being positive' I shrug.

'right, I can dream of it' Jack said and his dad laughed.

'you two are cute' his mom commented.

'thanks' both Jack and I said and we laughed.

'anyway, I promise you that if I get out I will bring the fault in  our stars and we can watch it together'. He read the book and loved it, now he wanted to see the movie but it's not here and we kind of forgot to ever ask anyone to bring it. so here we are, a month later and we've still not seen the movie.

'pinky promise' I held up my pinky finger.

'pinky promise' he hooked his pinky in mine.

We kept waiting until nurse Kimmy came in, she was also here but she mostly was here for the other kids. You have this system, she is the head nurse for 2 kids and Ellie is the head nurse for me and Jack. but that doesn't mean the other nurses can't talk with us or- for example- get Jack for his operation.

'are you ready?' Kimmy asked and Jack nodded.

'I love you' I gave him a kiss,

'I love you too'

The nurse then went out of the door with him.

'you really love him don't you' his mom asked when I sat on the couch next to him.

'I do, I really love him' I smiled 'I'm lucky to have him'.

'yeah, he's a little miracle' his dad mumbled,

'yeah?'

'did he tell you that when he began to start getting the symptoms he still kept doing sports. And one day he had a game and in the middle of the field he passed out, it was so bad that he wouldn't wake up for about an hour. We thought we lost him but because we felt his heart beating we took him to the hospital. Here they said that we actually waited to long but we thought he was just going through a phase. In the beginning we were both really strict and we didn't let him do anything but he then told us that even though he has cancer he can still live, even if it's only on this floor' his dad explained.

'he's our angel' he mom smiled.

'he is a blessing form the sky' I scoffed.

We kept talking for a bit but I got to tired so I decided to go back to my room to sleep for a bit. My mom and dad were both there.

'how is he?' my mom asked

'I don't know, he's still in the operation but I'm tired. I'm sleeping' I said as I laid down on my bed

'are you worried?' my dad asked

'no he'll be fine I just, I don't know how it will go when he can go home you know' I mumble

'Ava I have a feeling he wasn't kidding when he said that he will visit you every day. He really loves you, I see the way he looks at you' my mom grabbed my hand, 'it's the same way your dad looked at me'

'looked?' I open my eyes

'we still love each other but that look full of love, that disappears after a while' she shrugged

'don't worry, Your mom and I still love each other vey much we just aren't the young couple in love we used to be'

'now your old' I yawned and they chuckled

'sleep well little baby' my mom mumbled and I fell asleep.

I woke up after god knows how long. My mom waked me up.

'hey, I saw Jack's doctor go in his room' she said and I opened my eyes,

'how long ago?'

'about 5 minutes ago' she said and i sat up. 'I wouldn't go in, you will probably the first on he wants to tell'

'okay' I grabbed my phone and waited about 10 minutes before Jack came in.

'and?' I stood up,

He sighed and looked up 'i-I' he stumbled.

'you can't go home' I whispered and he looked up

'no' he whispered 'I can, and I'm healing' a big smile appeared on his face

'you're kidding' I almost yelled

'no, the cancer is slowly going away. I can now go home end come here ever Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a chemo' he smiled

'oh my god Jacks' I ren to him and put my arms around his neck

'I'm healing sunshine' he whispered and I nodded,

'yes you are'

I then grabbed his face and gave him a long kiss.

'I'm so happy' I mumbled and grabbed his hands.

Suddenly I felt dizzy, probably because I was still tired.

'Ava are you okay?' Jack asked, I heard everything like I was underwater. It was just like- just like when I passed out.

'jack' I managed to say before everything in front of my eyes went black.
