The first quarter was coming to an end, and Sky realized he literally had learned nothing about the supposed Vampire serial killer. He was just so busy with his new friend Chris and his naps to think about much else, though Arika sent him almost daily reminders that the whole reason she got him into the school in the first place was to buddy up with the heirs and get her promoted. Within the first couple of weeks of school Sky had put their conversation on "do not disturb" mode and promptly ignored every message she sent until she eventually stormed up to him on campus and pulled him by the ear all the way back to her apartment to reprimand him and force him to cook dinner for her. She would never admit it to him, but Sky's cooking was much better than her own and she missed eating it when he had gone to the dorms. That's how Saturday night turned into Family Dinner/ How Can We Get The Vamp To Trust You Night. Neither of them had any luck coming up with a solid, plausible plan to get Grey to tell him anything of importance, but it turns out that they didn't need to.

Arika had just dropped Sky back at his dorm after eating dinner and plotting, and he decided instead of just going straight to bed he should take a shower first. He couldn't actually remember the last time he showered and even though he was sure he didn't smell he felt that he should probably at least wash his hair. It seemed that both of his roommates were gone for the night, so he could take all the time in the world without worrying that the sound of the shower would bother their sensitive hearing and disturb their sleep. He was courteous like that.

Just as he had finished stripping off his clothes, he felt the air in the room move telling him someone had just entered the room. He turned, expecting to see Derek or Grey, but instead he met the shocked and mortified eyes of Grey's cousin Dominic Silver-Laken, son of the famous Vampire lawyer Garret Silver-Laken and lover of first-person shooter and racing games. Sky's kind had never been shy about their bodies, so he didn't even bat an eye as this stranger stared at him with his mouth hanging open like a fish. He simply threw his towel over his shoulder and walked past him to the bathroom.

He spent a whole 40 minutes in the shower, most of the time spend just feeling the sensation of the water rolling over his head and down the back of his neck, and when he emerged a new man he saw that Dominic had been sitting on Grey's bed with his head in his hands the entire time. His face was still beet red from having seen Sky naked, which both interested and confused him to no end. They were both men, meaning that their bodies were similar although not the same. He assumed that he could look at his own body naked without turning red, and Sky just couldn't understand how it could be any different for him to look at someone else's body. When Dominic heard the bathroom door finally open he stood up so quickly Sky thought he might experience vertigo and began vehemently apologizing.

"Dude I'm so sorry I really didn't mean to see that, I mean you, I mean I just came in here to borrow a textbook from Grey and he said that I could just go right into his room and he gave me his key and I didn't think that anyone would be here and then you were here and you were naked and I saw you and oh god this is so awkward I'm so sorry if I'm making you uncomfortable and please just say something so I know you're not about to like beat the shit out of me or something."

Dominic hadn't taken a single breath the entire time he spoke, and now a long silence enveloped them as he deeply inhaled and waited with bated breath for Sky to respond. Sky had only caught the last two thirds of what the boy had said since he began speaking before Sky looked at him, but he understood the gist of what Dominic was getting at. He didn't really feel like digging through is belongings to find his notebook right now, so he took a chance and signed in Dominic's direction. Instead of getting a response to what he said, the boy just continued freaking out.
