"Whoa!" One of the beta heir twins, probably Conner, exclaimed at lunch. "Sky that girl over there looks just like you!" Sky turned in the direction he was pointing and saw a person wearing a black floral dress with a pair of black flats and long, braided hair draping over one shoulder. In the sunlight their skin had a slightly green tint to it, but anyone who wasn't looking for it most likely wouldn't notice. The person turned, their emerald eyes making contact with his grey ones and their face lighting up with an excited smile. Sky turned back towards his pack friends.

'That's one of my brothers,' he signed, and all of their mouths dropped open. After he called his mother Sky expected his brothers to show up at some point so he wasn't surprised to see L'gairie wandering around the student union cafeteria.

"That's your brother?" Conner's twin Collin said incredulously.

"Your parents let him dress like that?" Monty asked. He didn't seem to mean it in an offensive way, he just looked shocked.

'We're much more accepting about these things in my home than you all are here.' At that moment his chair was pulled away from the table slightly and his brother climbed into his lap, wrapping his arms gently around Sky's neck as he continued to eat his lunch.

"L'aire I missed you so much! It's not the same without you at home." Someone plopped into the seat beside him and he saw his brother L'furae scowling. He looked like Sky, except his hair was shaved on the sides, and his face sported several piercings including eyebrow, two nose rings, and a stud in his lip. He wore loose black skinny jeans, worn black boots, and a sleeveless shirt covered by a leather vest. His red eyes were observing the group in front of them with distrust as he spoke.

"I hope your lover isn't one of these losers cause otherwise I'd be really disappointed. I was hoping it would be someone that could take me in a fight." Sky laughed slightly, looking to his other side as a hand landed on his shoulder. Another one of the quints, L'aure stood to his side, squeezing him slightly in acknowledgement as he rolled his blue eyes at L'furae. His hair was done up in a quiff and he wore a long sleeve striped shirt with a pair of tight, dark wash jeans.

"Oh come off it, you would lose to these guys any day if you didn't have your affinity for fire. You might be less hot headed then too though so maybe you'd see the losing battle before it even started." He snarled at his brother and L'aure's lips turned up into a smirk. The last of his brothers, L'sulie, approached the table carrying two trays full of food. His hair was pulled up into a bun and his golden eyes shone as he saw his baby brother. He wore a flannel over a plain white-T and loose jeans.

"Stop fighting and eat you two. L'gairie get off L'aire and grab a chair, you can cling to him all you want when we're not in the middle of a public space. And L'aire, it's so good to see you little brother. Mom told us a little bit about your life here and we decided it was high time to come for a visit."

The scene probably looked strange to his pack friends for several reasons. One, it isn't every day that they see five people with identical faces but highly different styles and personalities. And two, Sky didn't have to look at his brother's mouths as they spoke. He was able to look them in the eyes because their unique connection allowed him to hear them speak. He has never been able to hear any of his other family members, but his brothers shared a connection with him that seemed to transcend his physical disability. That was part of the reason they were so close, and one of the reasons they had chosen to make sure one of them was near him at all times back home.
