When he awoke, Sky was lying on a hard concrete floor. His eyelids felt heavy, so he kept them closed and even out his breathing to maintain the idea that he was still asleep. He felt the air around him, and discovered that the room he was in was relatively isolated from the rest of the house. There was no movement at all in the room, which led him to believe that he was either in a very well built shed of some kind or, more likely, a basement with a thoroughly insulated or reinforced door. His only connection to the atmosphere outside of the room where he was kept came in the form of a small vent on one wall. Through there he was able to feel his way through the house and come up with a vague map in his head. There was only one story to this house, with two bedrooms. A person, the assailant, sat at a desk or a table in one of the rooms. Sky had surmised earlier that his kidnapper must be a man based on his size and strength. He was easily a head taller than Sky and was able to hold him in place with only one of his beefy arms. There was another body in an open room with a couch, probably the living room, and a smaller body sitting at a table nearby. The body on the couch was definitely another adult, but based on size alone Sky thought the smaller body might be tall child or a young teenager.
Sky's body felt cold and tired. He wasn't wearing any clothes, there was a weight around his wrists and ankles. He shifted his body ever slightly in an attempt to feel what they were, but he couldn't. Slowly, he began to open his eyes. There was a single light by the door that kept the room dim, but not completely dark. The basement was relatively bare except for a large sink and a wall covered in various tools. Copious amounts of blood were crusted onto the saws and knives and stained the ground below him, but it didn't actually smell like blood. There was a sour smell in the air that he couldn't identify, but it wasn't all that unpleasant. He shifted his eyes down to look at what was on his wrists, and almost signed when he did. Chains. His legs were chained to the ground below him, and his arms to the wall behind him. There seemed to be just enough length to the chains that he could curl up on the ground near the back wall, but he wasn't allowed much more leeway than that. His arms were starting to fall asleep below him, so Sky slowly sat up and leaned against the wall. He wanted to stand to stretch his legs as well, but he was still under the effects of whatever he was drugged with earlier.
He didn't know how long he had been out for, but it was long enough that Dom knew he was gone. He could feel his partner's distress through their bond, and he made sure to focus on his own calm feelings through the bond. He wanted to reassure his love that he was safe and unafraid of the situation he was in. If anything, he was more worried about how Dominic was reacting to his disappearance than the fact that he was actually taken. Dominic's panic lessened slightly, but he was still worried. He knew that Sky was safe for the moment, but they still had no idea where he was.
It was fortunate that River and Fury hadn't gone back to their old home. River would be able to calm Dominic down and stay calm enough to gather information, and Fury would stop at nothing to make sure they found their brother. This wasn't the first time one of them had been taken, and the brothers knew that Sky would be find until they arrive. He knew how to take care of himself, and out of all of them he was able to keep the most collected in any situation. They thought he was a good actor, but he truly just wasn't upset by the situations he'd been placed in. It took a lot for him to become upset, and a little kidnapping felt relatively insignificant.
