Justin's pov

I smiled weakly at the doctor as they checked me over, flashing a small torch light into my eyes as I sat on the edge of the bed swinging my legs back and forth nervously.

Jason was stood in the corner of room to give the doctors space to make sure everything was ok and he was stood with my mum whispering to her with a smirk spread across his face as my mum blushed and I furrowed my eyebrows still swinging my legs childishly.

They injected something in my arm and said it would make me feel a little loopy, and that I do.

My mum smacked Jason's arm playfully as he wiggled his eyebrows at her in a teasing manner, Demi had left to the canteen to go and get me some grapes, which reminds me that I miss my babies, Snuffles grape and Lily.

I tilted my head a little to the side as I looked towards the ceiling then to the floor then back over at Jason who was laughing, so I kept my eyes locked on him as he was nice to look at when he was laughing, his nose scrunched up slightly and he closed his eyes for a second before opening them again, his shoulders shook as my mum blushed and I wondered what they were talking about.

"You alright son?" Dr.Roberts asked me and I looked up at him and nodded my head making him smile down at me.

"Do you feel like you may vomit or nauseous?" He asked and I thought about it for a second tipping my head to the left and the right to see if I felt dizzy but I didn't.

"N-No, but I feel a little s-sick." I croaked and he nodded.

"That's understandable also the shot we injected you with may make you feel like that so if you do throw up don't be alarmed alright?" He chuckled and I nodded up at him, I like this man he's nice.

He put something in my ears to check my temperature and then glanced over at my mum and Jason who were talking, "Justin?" The doctor asked quietly and I hummed.

"Uh I know this may seem weird or whatever you kids call it these days, but um, I like your mum and I was wondering if it was ok with you if I took her out on a date?" He whispered as I furrowed my eyebrows looking up at him as he nodded to himself writing something down.

"W-Why are you asking m-me?" I whispered back and he smiled small, "You're her only son, It just feels right that I ask you first, I want you to like me and if you don't approve then I wont go ahead and ask her out of respect for you." He mumbled checking my pulse.

I smiled a little and nodded, "T-That's thoughtful of you and I d-do like you so go ahead, y-you have done a lot for m-me already so who am I to tell y-you no?" I whispered and he smiled wide at me.

"You're worth it Justin, you seriously are an amazing kid and very strong, I can see why your mother is so proud of you and I hope that I could get to know you more, thank you for letting me ask her." He smiled and I nodded, shocked when he pulled me into his arms in a hug and for the first time in a long time, I felt a little fatherly protection from him and wrapped my arms around his torso as tight as I could and buried my face into his strong chest, I don't know what it is about him but he makes me feel a little more safe than I already do, like a father should.

Dr.Roberts pulled away from the hug and ruffled my hair playfully as I looked up at him and smiled a little, he nodded and winked at me then turned to look at my mother who had her hand over her mouth at the sight that she just witnessed and tears in her eyes.

Jason's mouth was wide open as he gaped at us and I rolled my eyes pointing at him and gesturing him over which he wasted no time doing and once he reached me, I looked up at the doctor, "G-Go ahead." I whispered nudging him, he smiled and nodded his head ruffling my hair one last time before walking over to my mum and asking her to step outside.
