Jason's pov

Taking a deep breath, I closed my eyes as Demi's own hardened, waiting for me to explain to her what the hell was going on and she had every right to because she is just as much a part of this family as I am.

I licked my lips and opened my eyes to see her in the exact same stance as before, "Sit down." I muttered running my fingers through Justin's hair to keep him asleep, not only because I don't want him to wake up and hear me explaining it again, I know it still haunts him and it probably always will haunt him, but I don't want him to hear me explain it again and the most important reason is because he needs his sleep, I know that he has been having bad dreams and not sleeping properly so I don't want him waking up until he has had at least two or more hours sleep.

Demi stared at me for a little while longer before nodding with the hard look on her face and sat down where she was before and started to draw soothing circles into Justin's back making him let out a cute little puff of air and nuzzle his face into my neck more, his lips brushed against my neck right where my soft spot was making me let out a little gasp and a shiver ran down my spine as I closed my eyes briefly.

"Oh my." I breathed as I opened them again to see Demi giggling so I shifted a little so his lips weren't brushing that certain spot and let out a sigh of relief.

"Soft spot?" She guessed giggling.

I nodded and let out a little breath, "Right ok," I murmured looking at Demi seriously which made her stop giggling and the deadly look was on her face once again.

I bit my lip, looking up towards the ceiling as the memories played back through my head, my fingers still running through Justin's hair to sooth him and myself at the same time.

"Justin and I had just come back from our date on the boat," I started, smiling at the memory but it soon faded as I thought about the events that occurred after it.

"He said he was going to get a glass of water from the kitchen when we just arrived so I went to the living room with the dogs to wait for him and it wasn't even two minutes later when I heard Justin scream," I murmured.

"It was like the time he let out those painful screams in the school, but I knew he wasn't in pain because they were screams of absolute terror," I whispered still looking up at the ceiling as I spoke but I could feel Demi's deep gaze burning into the side of my face.

"I got up straight away, leaving the dogs there and when I got to the kitchen Justin was stood frozen like a statue and he was looking out the window, but I didn't pay attention to that at first, all I could think about was seeing if he was ok,"

"I reached him quickly, but he was still unmoving as I spoke to him and then I turned to look out the window and there was a man wearing all black stood on the grass holding a gun and aiming straight for Justin's head," I whimpered a little as I remembered and then thought about what could have happened if I hadn't have gotten there in time.

"I looked around a bit and there was a man's head on a wooden pole just stood there, the blood from the cut off head was dripping down the pole and into the grass where it formed a huge puddle, there was a board next to it with the words, 'You're next faggot.' and it was written in blood," I breathed hearing Demi gasp making me close my eyes as the images played through my head.

"Just as I looked back at the guy he pulled the trigger so I dropped Justin to the kitchen floor and myself before he could get shot and the window shattered making the glass fall on top of us, but Justin was still in the same state as if he didn't even hear anything," I paused shaking my head as I leaned to the side and kissed Justin's cheek softly.
