Justin's pov
My eyes shot open wide as I saw a gun pointed in my face the man in black stood there with the same smirk on his face as before, "You're next." He whispered menacingly as I just stared at him not knowing what to do or what to say.
The sound of the safety clicked off and he shot a bullet without even thinking twice and it came through the glass window of the kitchen shattering it, it felt like slow motion as it travelled towards my skull, right in between my eyes.
It was about an inch away now, any second from piercing my skin.
I gasped and my eyes shot open, sweat trickling down my forehead as I looked around with wide eyes trying to get a hold of my surroundings, relaxing a little when I realized that I was in the living room of the house and in Jason's arms as he slept.
I whimpered slightly not being able to get the horrible images out of my head.
It felt so real.
It felt like I was actually stood there in front of that man in black and he was pointing a gun to my head again, but this time he shot the bullet while I was stood and it was going to go right through my head and it was going to kill me.
Relaxing back into Jason's arms, I realized that our fingers were intertwined and resting between our chests just below our chins, I looked at them weirdly with a raised eyebrow, I could have sworn that we both fell asleep with our arms around each other and our hands weren't like this.
I squinted my eyes down at our hands watching to see if they made any sudden movement.
They must be magic.
I felt stupid when I realized that I was now awake and of course I was able to move my own hand, rolling my eyes at myself, I sighed pouting as I took in Jason's sleeping form.
My eyes slowly scanned his face where there were a few bruises and cuts then trailed down to his neck where the two hand prints were there taunting me as I looked at them, the police had taken pictures of them and swabs to see if they could get any DNA to find the person responsible for this mess.
I bit my lip as I just stared at the bruises and they stared back at me, sneering and shouting about how this was all my fault before I tore my gaze away from Jason's neck and looked behind me to see my mum and Mark asleep on the sofa.
My eyes trailed over to the clock on the wall and saw that it was 3.24am, so that explains why it is so dark.
Glancing back at Jason, I loosened my fingers that were laced with his, gently pulling them from his grasp, I grabbed his arm from where it was wrapped around my waist and brought it up to rest against his chest softly.
I looked at him once more making sure that he wasn't going to wake up the slowly sat up swinging my side of the sofa and standing up, licking my dry lips and tiptoed out of the room, pausing at the kitchen and letting my eyes adjust to the different lighting, I looked around and saw something gleaming in the moonlight making me furrow my eyebrows and walk into the kitchen towards the shining object.
My eyes lit up once I saw what it was and I grabbed it quickly, putting it into my sweats pocket before glancing at the window that was now boarded up, wincing as I remembered what happened for the second time since I had woken up,
Turning around, I walked out of the kitchen as quickly and as quietly as possible, making my way to the lift because it was quicker than taking the stairs and I needed all the time I could get. I pressed the number for the second floor once the lift doors had opened and waited impatiently, my eyes darting around in the lit up lift.
