Grammar tenses

To be honest, in ordinary lives , there's no boundaries and rules we need to abide with. Grammar are like transparent thin air, it existed and needed but does not demand greatly. Unlike english which have grammar principles to follow.

Chinese do have sentence structure, a pattern that are used iteratively.
So, if you think mandarin will be any complicated with grammar headache.

Chinese = mandarin

Rule 1
The usage of Sentence structure

The basic word order in mandarin that is used in daily lives and never change for a bit.

Subject - object

Example :

我 -唱歌
wǒ - chàng gē
I - sing

她 - 笑
tā - xiào
She - laughs

Subject - verb - object

Example :

我 - 吃饭
wǒ - chī fàn
I - eat rice

他 - 说中文
tā - shuō zhōng wén
He - speaks chinese


Rule 2
Words do not change

No matter what pronouns are used as the subject, there are no other form of verbs as applied in english. Whether it is past , present, future tense, the verb remains the same.

Example :

我去上班
wǒ qù shàng bān
I go to work.

他去上班
tā qù shàng bān
He goes to work.

他们去上班
tā mén qù shàng bān
They go to work.
