Sorry or I'm sorry
对不起 (duì bù qǐ)
You can say "对不起" in the situation where offense incident are taken place and when you make a mistake. This apologetic term can be considered both casual and formal.
Example:
对不起,都是我的错。
( duì bu qǐ,dōu shì wǒ de cuò. )
I'm sorry, it's all my fault.
对不起,你知道怎么做吗?
( duì bu qǐ,nǐ zhī dào zěn me zuò ma)
I'm sorry, do you know how to do this?

Sorry about that
不好意思 (bù hǎo yì si)
This is a mild apologetic term when you apologize for something minor. Oftentimes, you say this to friends, colleagues and families.
Example:
我来晚了,不好意思 (wǒ lái wǎn le, bù hǎo yì si)
I came late, sorry about that!

I Apologize
抱歉 (bào qiàn)
You say this when you feel extremely sorry and have heavy heart to sincerely apologize to someone. This formal term are typical for formal situations.
Example:
我很抱歉,下次我会做得更好
wǒ hěn bàoqiàn,xiàcì wǒ huì zuò dé gèng hǎo
I am very sorry, I'll do better next time.

It's My Fault
是我的错 (shì wǒ de cuò)
This term are meant to used when you admit you are wrong.
Example:
你的椅子坏了,是我的错
nǐ de yǐ zi huài le, shì wǒ de cuò
Your chair is broken, it's my fault!

是我不对 (shì wǒ bù duì)
那时候是我不对
nà shí hou shì wǒ bù duì
That time was my bad
