Micah dropped the envelope onto the book Hayes was reading, angling a chair towards her and sitting. She looked between the envelope and him curiously. "What's this?"
"Remember all those museums I went to?" he asked.
"That you enjoyed immensely, yes."
"My turn to pick an activity."
She drew the two tickets from the envelope and read them, then looked back at him. "You know I know nothing about sports, right?"
"Did I know anything about how museum exhibits were set up?" he countered.
"What if I'm busy on Thursday?"
"Are you?"
"Well... no."
"Then why bother asking?" he inquired.
"'Cause I'm trying to get out of going to a hockey game."
"You're going, Hayes."
She wrinkled her nose. "Ugh."
