"I don't know what a Bruin is but we crushed them!" Hayes exclaimed, punching the air in front of her and coming dangerously close to the lady next to her on the subway. The Capitals had beaten the Bruins 4-1 after being down 1-0 after the first period. Hayes had gotten into the game once she'd figured out the rules and what was going on, and twenty minutes after the game had ended she was still very excited.

"Can you believe you didn't want to go when I got the tickets?" Micah asked. He shot an apologetic look to the lady and shifted Hayes away from her.

"How did you get the tickets? Those were incredible seats."

"A guy at work has season tickets and whenever he doesn't want to go he gives them to people. I happened to be around when he decided he didn't want them for this game."

"Very lucky on your part."

"Oddly enough all it took was telling him that my roommate had never been to a hockey game before to convince him I was the best candidate for the tickets."

She wrinkled her nose with amusement and bumped into him, both smiling at the other.
