(Part 2)
The bus was coming to a stop while I
battled between the decision of
waking her up or not.
People got off, the doors closed and the
bus continued its routine.
The girl didn't wake up between the
three stops before mine.
As the bus reached my stop,
I walked to the exit, conflicted.
Once I got off the bus, no one would
care if she slept through all the bus's stops or not.
She'd wake up alone and find out she's
far away from her stop.
She'd have an even more tiring
day getting back home.
Exiting the bus, I didn't dare look back.
I made my way to the petrol station.
The only way I'd left myself with her to make sure
she was safe was by placing the black hair tie I'd
had in my pocket on her bag.
That wasn't the beginning of the
end of our encounters really.
There wasn't meant to be anything between us though,
and at the time I thought it was nothing.
So it had to be nothing, right?
