Peter stayed there, on the floor. No one really knew what to do, Tony burst through the door onto the roof, he clutched Peter to his chest, "I got you, kid, I got you," he whispered. After a while, everyone had gone back inside.

You laid in bed on your phone, unable to sleep when a knock came at your door. Peter awkwardly stood in your doorway, "I-I just wanted to know if you were okay..." he muttered softly, scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah I'm fine," You said reassuringly. He hovered there uncomfortably, looking very shaken. "Are YOU okay?" You asked him, genuinely concerned. "Had better days," he laughed, trying to cover up the lip quiver that followed. You moved over and patted the bed beside you.

Peter took you up on your offer, sitting down beside you. "Peter, you're not gonna pull that on us again, are you?" You asked gently, not wanting to to scare him away. "It's just... I can't shake the feeling that I'd just be better off dead," he sighed, looking down at his hands. You grabbed them and looked into his eyes, "Peter, you're better off here, alive and well with us," you said firmly, "alive maybe but...well?" Peter sighed.
