(CHONG)

Skiing is the name of the game, and Prince Qing thinks he will win it easily.

He will be wrong, because I will not let him win.

Hidden to everyone included in this honeymoon, I am an avid skier myself. I used to travel miles and for days just to get to a ski resort to do one of my favorite sports.

But Lao and Dayu are lavishing praises for their Prince who is what they call an "excellent" skier.

"I will admit to not being that good at skiing," Dayu said.

"I can give you free lessons, Love." The Prince said.

Dayu giggled, clearly tickled. "There is no free lessons when it's coming from you. I know you will charge me once it's just the two of us and in our bedroom." Dayu even poked his husband's chest playfully.

Oh. My. Fucking. Lord.

"And I just love hearing that. Ah my ears are rejoicing and my mind is invigorated with imagining," I grumbled. Lao winced at me in sympathy. "Let them be, it's their honeymoon."

"Yeah, you are right." I turned my back to the cringy sweet Royal Couple to focus on him. "I should just count my blessings right. At least we haven't managed to walk on them naked and going at it yet."

"Yes, count your blessings." Lao nodded. "And besides, we are in Kalinchowk, the gateway to heaven. This place will give us new adventures."

Yes. We are currently in Nepal. After the tropical paradise that is Maldives, we are now wearing layers of clothings and sipping hot drinks while gazing at the snowy mountains of Nepal.

Nepal housed 8 out of 10 of the tallest mountains in the world. It should be a skier paradise but Nepalese were rumored to be afraid of disturbing their nature and trying new modern sports.

It is fortunate that two years ago, a group of well meaning snow skier started promoting the mountains of Nepal as a go to place for skiers. And now we are here in Kalinchowk to check out their skiing slopes.

We have our gears ready. Lao wants to snow board instead of skiing. The Prince is determined to teach Dayu to ski, goodluck to him. I am determined to slide of some snowy slope and feel the rush.

But when we got out, Dayu was the one who was delightfully surprised when we learned that their is an event going on in the village.

"A snowman making contest!" Dayu clapped happily. "I love making snowman!"

The three of us eyed him apprehensively. "Snowman making is for kids..."

"That is why they have kids here," Dayu encompassed his hands on our surrounding. Families with kids are encouraged to join this snowman making event.

Now people are mingling around as the registration starts.

"For only $10 dollar, you can join our snowman making contest. The prize will be baskets of local products and sweets." The organizer shouts on a megaphone so everyone can hear him.

"Sweets!" Dayu got more excited. "Let's join!" He started pulling his husband to the registration booth.

"Ahm, Love, we are here to ski..." The Prince protests while walking.
