Chapter 2- My Brothers And Their Annoying Friend

"No hello?" I ask, pretending to be dissapointed. Inside, I was laughing hysterically.

"Hello. Gett out of here before I send you to another boarding school," he says.

"More like 'boring school'," I mutter under my breath.

"What was that?" he asks, maybe a hint of anger in there.

"Nothing," I say, and sprint out of the bland room. I do not exactly want to be sent away from my brothers again.

"Is anyone home?" I yell, once I get outside the grey-themed office.

"Only me," the mysterious stranger says. "Who are you?"

"You'll never know," I say, while he rolls his eyes.

"Do I need to call the police?" he threatens.

"Threatening an innocent 16 year old girl? How rude!"

His arm muscles tense up, making it evident that I was annoying him.

"WE'RE HOME!" one of my dear brothers yells from downstairs.

I run down the stairs and scream.

"INTRUDERS!" I yell.

"Abi!" Jack yells, pulling me in for a hug.

He is the tallest of us all, but still not as tall as the stranger in the house. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Jordan and Tyler look very similar to him, partially to the fact Hey are triplets.

I rub my hands all over him, to get the leftover glitter off of my hands.

"What are you doing?" he asks.

"Cleaning off the rest of a prank," I reply. "Go ask the world's best Dad."

"It's glitter," Jordan says, noticing the sparkles glowing in the light.

"Yup," I smile, mischievously.

"Welcome home, sister," Tyler yells and pulls me into a big hug.

"The first person who has said that to me today!" I exclaim.

"You already saw Dad?" Jack asks.

"No shit Sherlock," I reply, elbowing him in the stomach. He doubles over in pain and I laugh.

"Don't abuse my brother!" Tyler yells, attempting to jump on me.

For once, my short size comes in handy, and I run up the annoying stairs. I once again, bump into the tall stranger.

"Care to explain who you are?" I ask, frowning upwards at him. He's at least 6'3", and I have to look upwards to see him.

"I asked first," he replies.

"Hmm.. if I recall that wasn't what I asked."

The boys catch up to me, and see this guy and I arguing.

"I guess you have met Asher," Jordan nervously says.

"What the hell is this loser doing here?" I ask.

"That's none of your business," Asher responds. "I live in one of the guest rooms."

He smirks and winks.

I slap him in the face.

"Abi, he's so good at pranks!" Jack says, getting excited at the thought of pranks.

"Remember the time he poured water in your ear during the night, and you thought that there was something wrong with you?" Jordan asks Jack.

"It's nice to see you guys have replaced me," I mutter, and escape to my room.

I've only been gone a year, and they haven't seemed to care that I was gone.

After I arrive in my room, I lock my door. Then I open my window and jump out into the tree next to it. Before I was sent away, I would always climb up to the top of the tree and sit there when I wanted to be alone. Nobody knew about my hiding space, and I don't intend on letting anyone know.

Not once during my year away from them had they called me. I guess I now know why.

No matter what, I'm going to make sure I reclaim my place with my brothers. This 'Asher', better watch out. I am the ultimate prankster, and won't he know it!
