Four

It was brutal, like a warzone down on the football field. Tons of boys competing against each other, trying to look good in front of the coach. There was only so many spots on the team after all.

Ashton was amazing. And Calum hated it.

Ashton was hot, and could play sports, he was for sure going to make it onto the team.

Calum sat in the bleachers with Michael and Luke. "Can't believe I have to sit through this." Calum grumbled.

"Well you don't have to." Michael responds.

"Please, my mom will kill me if I don't give Ashton a ride home. It's like I'm his personal chauffeur now. Why can't he just take the bus home or something, huh?"

Ashton takes off down the field with the ball, Luke stands up and cheers. "Yes Ashton go! WOOO!"

"Shut up and sit down." Michael mumbles, wishing Luke would cheer for him like that.

"You're just jealous." Luke says.

Michael rolls his eyes, "And you're just desperate."

When there's a water break Ashton comes jogging over to the bleachers, all sweaty, to say hello.

"Ashton you're doing great- you're looking great." Luke yells.

Ashton laughs and throws a wink at Luke to keep him happy. "Thanks Luke." he turns to look at Calum, "Hi Cal."

And fuck Calum still looked so good with his new makeover but, Ashton wasn't going to get another boner, hopefully.

Calum flips him the bird. "Go back to playing your dumb sport."

"Feisty today huh?" Ashton growls playfully. Which earns a laugh from Michael.

Coach blows the whistle, and the boys all huddle up on the field to finish the tryouts. Ashton waves them goodbye, and joins the rest of the guys.

Calum swore every chance Ashton got to take a break or be near them him and Luke would flirt.

Michael was obviously angry and Calum felt bad.

Michael has had a crush on Luke for years but Luke's neck is so long he doesn't seem to notice what's going on.

Fucking kid has wii music playing in his head 24/7.

Michael ended up leaving.

Luke made sure to keep his eye on Ashton and everything he did. He rarely blinked.

Once football tryouts were over Ashton ran up to us.

He smelled like the boys locker room

Calum gagged and took out cologne spraying it all over Ashton

"Cal-" Ashton coughed as Calum got some in his mouth and sucked his teeth when he got it in his eye

"Ah shit Ashton. Don't you know how to stay still?" Calum sighed
pouring some of his water on Ashton's eye

"Come on let's go."

"Luke want to come over?" Ashton asked

"Michael and I had plans but we could always reschedule so sure."

Ashton smiled and Calum just wanted to push them off the planet.

Don't get him wrong Cal loves Luke but sometimes he's just so clueless.

Ashton, Calum doesn't really give a rats ass about him.

Once they got to the car Ashton started to play banana with Luke

It's a game where when you see a yellow car/bike/truck/bus you yell banana and whoever sees the most wins

So far Ashton had a 12 point lead

"Banana!" Luke yelled

"Shut the fuck up!" Calum yelled back

He was tired

This day was getting him stressed

"Chill babe." Ashton warned

"Or what Ashton?" Calum asked

Ashton had a couple things in mind but obviously they couldn't happen

Calum rolled his eyes as they pulled into their driveway

"Where are you going?" Ashton asked as they got out the car

"Since Luke ditched Michael I'm going to go hang out with him because I'm loyal." Calum snapped

"I didn't ditch him we were going to reschedule."

"Whatever luke." Calum said as he backed out the driveway

Luke felt guilty but it went away when Ashton told him they were going to go inside and watch the office.

Calum went to Michael's house and knocked on his door

"Thought you were Luke." Michael laughed

"I have a plan."
