"Slow down." Landon yells holding onto the car door

"I'm going the speed limit" Ashton laughs. Landon sighs and squeezes his eyes shut.

"You're such a baby."

"Well you're going to take me to meet your-"

"They're not my family." Ashton tenses up and Landon frowns. Landon rubs Ashton's arm, "They are Ash, I've only known you for like two weeks and it seems like they're the only ones who've treated you like family."

"Can we talk about something else?"

"Ashton, they-"

"Landon please."

"Okay." Landon looks out the window and he could feel for Ashton. He felt awful.

"We're late." Landon says as they get out the car seeing all the cars parked outside

"We are fashionably late." Ashton smiles correcting him

Landon walks up to the door and finds himself stopping and turning around to see Ashton in the same place staring at the house.

"Now or never Ash."

"I'm scared."

"The worse thing that could happen is they kick us out."

"That's pretty bad Landon." Ashton laughs

"Well, if it does happen, we can always get a hotel, go out to eat and watch movies all night. That doesn't sound too bad, does it?"

"Now we can get into our fort, eat cake, and watch movies all day!" Calum exclaims excitedly.

"Stop being so cute you dork." Ashton climbs into the fort.

"Stop calling me a dork you asshole." Calum mimics.

"Ashton?"

"Hmm? Oh.. yeah, sounds great." Ashton shakes off old memories or at least tries to.

"Come on lets go." Landon grabs Ashton's hand pulling him to the door.

Landon knocks on the door, knowing Ashton would be too nervous to.

"Ashton! Landon?" Lia yells over the loud music as the door opens

"Yes, hi." Landon smiles as Lia allows them to walk in

"Aww babe you nervous?" Lia smiles as Ashton looks around noticing nothing has really changed sighs.

"Ashton!" Joy immediately hugs him and he couldn't help but hug her back as fast as he could.

"We were just heading out to leave the place to you guys, can we talk outside real quick?" David asks

Ashton nods, "I uh, first this is uh, this is Landon."

Landon smiles as he waves to Joy and David.

"You're so big. I'll see you tomorrow, you are always welcome here, I love you." Joy smiles and leaves to go wait in the car.

Ashton turns to David who's staring at him, "I trusted you with him."

Ashton bites his lip and looks down.

"You broke him Ashton."

"What?"

"He called me crying the first day of college."

"He told you?"

"He told me everything." David crosses his arms and Ashton sighs, "I didn't mean for this to happen."

"We miss you. You're an asshole but we miss you." David chuckles

"You're mad?"

"Extremely but, you're family."

"I'm still family?"

"You never stopped."

"I love him... with all my heart." Ashton chokes up

"You still do?"

"never stopped." Ashton softly laughs, David pulls him into a hug, "Take care of him, don't let me down this time. Oh and Ash, do me a favor and make sure they don't tear this place down."

Ashton laughs and David pulls away, "I'll see you tomorrow."

Ashton walks back inside to find Landon sitting by the door.

"Why didn't you go find the others?"

"I wanted to wait for you, just in case we had to ditch... we don't right?"

"We don't."

Landon smiles and stands up, "well lead the way."

Ashton follows the noise back to the living room and awkwardly walks in with Landon holding his hand behind him.

"Hey!" Calum yells

Every time. Ashton's heart jumped.

"Hi everyone, this is Landon." Ashton spoke loudly over the music which Luke turned down. Everyone said hello and sat there in silence until Ashton turned around to see why.
