The next several days was a contest for the boys.

Michael and Calum would go on dates and Ashton and Luke would too. At the same time and place actually. Currently, the original three were at Michael's house watching a movie and Calum had gone to the bathroom leaving Luke and Michael on their own.

"Can we cuddle?" Luke asks

"I don't think my boyfriend would like that."

"Michael?" Luke bit his lip and sighed

"Yes Luke?"

"I thought you liked me."

Michael looked at Luke who was staring down at his feet

"W-what?"

"I got with Ashton so you could like me and I thought it was working but you never broke up with Calum. I know it's stupid but I needed to tell you. I owe that to you and to Calum. You both are my best friends and I tried to ruin your relationship. I'm sorry."

"Luke-"

"I better leave I don't want to mess this up between you guys."

"There's nothing between us." Calum said entering after ease dropping on the conversation

"What?"

"Calum and I started pretend dating.. so I could make you jealous." Michael stared at Luke

"I'll let you guys talk." Calum said walking to the door

"Calum can you tell Ashton it's over?" Luke asked

Calum smiled at his two best friends and maybe the fact that he could shove that into Ashton's face.

"Sure can do."

Ashton was watching shameless with Mali in the living room

Calum walked in and jumped on the couch between the both of them

Mali smiled at the two

She knows she couldn't ship them because Ashton was technically their brother but on the other hand he was their foster brother.

She told them she had to go call someone and left

"How's my boyfriend?" Ashton asked

"What boyfriend?"

"Luke dimwit."

"Oh he's probably making out with my boyfriend." Calum shrugged

"What?"

"Yeah Luke told me to tell you it was over."

"Wow.. I'm usually the one who breaks up with people. Why do the guys I break up with cry? I'm not sad at all."

"Maybe because you've never actually liked any of your boyfriends while they were falling in love with you."

"Love." Ashton laughs

"What's wrong with love?"

"I don't believe in love."

"You don't believe in love?"

"I've never loved someone or had someone to love. I've never experienced it and I never will. Simple as that."

"Well Ashton Irwin from this moment on I swear to you I will make you experience love at least once." Calum smiled

"and how exactly will you do that?"

"Let's get this out the way. Michael and I never dated it was a set up to get Luke and it worked."
