Hey guys, here is chapter 9, it has a bit of Jack and Pete as well as Ethan and Jacky, but Chapter is going to be just a Jack and Pete chapter and will be up tomorrow.
Now without further ado...
Chapter 9,
Grandparents know best
"Jacky J, wake up." A voice whispers huskily in my ear, soft lips brushing against my cheek as my eyes slowly flutter open.
"Is that supposed to be a nickname?" I simply asked a smiling Ethan.
"Yeah," he smirks, "I like it, what about you Jacky J?"
I thought about it, honestly it made me sound kind of ghetto, I wasn't very fond of it.
"No." I shake my head before sitting up and wiping the sleep from my eyes. "What time is it?"
"11:38, and jeez Forest, you're so unimaginative."
"Kids, hurry up and get out, your Grandma is waiting to see you!" Mom calls from the front, holding both the twins while they are in their car seats and refusing to let Dad take them, her pregnant belly bulged out and obvious.
Kaiya and Trevor immediately run out of the van, Ricky coaxes Mom into letting him carry Faith before they walk casually out, and now that just left Me, Ethan, Jack, and Pete.
"Be warned, we have a lot of cousins and some of them are probably going to be loud and obnoxious." I warn Ethan, Peter of course already knew because he's come with us on plenty of Holiday's and met our extended family.
"Yeah," Jack nods, "we don't all get along either, and I just don't like some of them. Like Dustin for example, he's a real prick."
I snorted.
That sums up Dustin alright. A total douche bag.
"Don't forget about Abby, she's going to be drooling all over Ethan, and then there's probably gonna' be another fight between you two this year." Peter adds looking adamantly at me, his expression stern.
"Abby is a bitch, I wish we weren't even related." I huff, grabbing Ethan's hand as I lead us off the RV only to be tackled into a hug by my Grandma.
"Grandma." I smile returning her embrace, she pulls away, her blue green eyes lighting up when she catches sight of Ethan and a knowing smile makes its way onto her face.
"How ya' doing Lyny?" She asks me in her pure southern drawl, using the nickname she always calls me. It's kinda' where Jack got the idea to call me Lyn instead of Jacky like everyone else. "Your mamma' told me you were bringing a boy other than Petey along, but I didn't expect him to be so handsome. I'm glad you finally got yourself a boyfriend."
"We're not dating." I deny.
"Yet," Ethan corrects, then holding out his hand to my Grandmother and putting on a gentle smile says, "I'm Ethan Waters, nice to meet you."
I laugh when Grandma slaps his hand away and crushes him in a big hug, "Call me Grandma Ann, or just Grandma works too." She pulls away with a bright smile, then of course she pushes us out of the way when Peter and Jack come stumbling off behind us. "I'm so glad you two are finally together, I was just waiting for it to happen!" She squeals wrapping them in a tight hug.
