Ponyboy (part 2)

It's been a month since I have spoken to ponyboy which was a good thing I guess, well for me it was. I've been hanging out with Dally lately since he's the only one who talks to me. The gang kind of been distant ever since I've stopped talking to Pony. I don't really mind though I don't really need them so I'm okay.

"Hey dal what are we gonna do today?" I said nudging him. "Uh- I can't hangout today (y/n)" "oh?" "Yeah I'm sorry I have a um date ?" "Oh really who's this special girl" "ch-cherry" "what? You're joking right?" I said with a little confused smile. "No I'm being serious I have a date with her... I'm sorry (y/n). I'll make it up to-" "don't bother Dallas cause I'm done hanging out with you" I said with a cold look. "Please (y/n) don't leave m-" "no Dallas you know what I'm done with everyone liking cherry and choosing her over me like what's the big deal should I get thinner or show my skin more"

"don't talk about yourself like that" "what's the matter with boys now days man it's like they want one specific broad and that broad is always gonna be Cherry stupid Valance" I said walking away. "(Y/N) GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE!" Dally yelled out. "NO YOU KNOW WHAT DALLAS SCREW YOU AND PONY AND EVRYONE ELSE THAT LEAVES ME FOR THAT PIECE OF CRAP CHERRY!! GO ON YOUR STUPID DATE WITH. I HOPE BOTH OF YOU END UP AT THE HOSPITAL." I said storming away.

So now I'm not talking to Dally. I've seen him around with cherry making out and stuff and I just walk away every time I see them. I didn't have anyone anymore, I haven't seen ponyboy, and I've just been home the whole time. I decided to go to the library but once I went inside I instantly regretted it. It just brought me memories of when I first met ponyboy.

I read a couple books and I got bored so I put the book back and heard someone talking about pony. "Yeah supposedly his other friend Johnny killed Bob because Bob was drowning Ponyboy on the water fountain" the person said. "Hey where did you guys hear that from?" I asked. "It's all over the newspapers look" the person said handing me the newspaper.

"What the hell" I said under my breath. I started getting dizzy and everything turned black. I ended up at this room and I saw the gang sitting down with their heads down. "Uh- where am I at?" I asked getting up. "(Y/n) lay down. You're at a hospital" Darry said. "What? why? What happened?" "You fainted and some people from the library called an ambulance" soda said.

"Oh. Where's pony? And J-Johnny?" The whole gang just stayed quiet. No one said a word. "Guys? Where are they at?" you said yelling. "Uh- we don't know where they are at (y/n). They went missing the night of the dance" Soda said. "Oh my gosh. It's all my fault" I said remembering what happened at the dance.

"How is it your fault? You did nothing wrong (y/n)" Steve said. "Yes I did Steve, I made pony feel bad that he left me for Cherry and probably that's why he left. Ugh I'm such a bitc-" "woah hey don't call yourself that" two-bit said cutting you off. "It's true though. I need to go find them I- I just have too" "no no no you're staying here until you get better"

"Darry I have to go find them and I'm sure I could get out today" I said getting up. The doctor came into the room and informed us that I could go. I just looked at the gang with a I told you so look. "Okay so you guys stay and I'll go look for them okay" I said. "No (y/n), you can't go on your own" "I'll be fine soda trust me" I said taking out my switchblade.

"No I'm going with you." I heard a familiar voice behind me and when I saw who it was I rolled my eyes, it was Dally. "Leave me alone" I said walking away. "No (y/n). I'm going with you even though you don't want me to go" Dally said grabbing my arm. I looked deep in his eyes and notice that he wanted to cry. I just looked away to not make things even more awkward.

"Fine Dal you win. Let's go. Bye guys, I promise I'll bring pony back okay" I told gang. Soda walked up to me and gave me a note and he told me to give it to Pony. Darry then came up to me and hugged me. Once the gang saw Darry hugging me, they all came up to me and hugged me. "Stay safe okay. Both of you, you hear me" Darry said in a serious voice.

"I'll make sure we will" I said also in a serious voice. I got inside the car with Dally and I was just quiet the whole time until he made conversation. "So I-uh, I broke up with Cherry" "oh good for you, do you wanna celebrate or something" I said very sarcastically. "Look
(y/n) the only reason I broke up with her is because she's nothing compared to you. I- I um-"

"I. I. I. Stop stuttering and tell me whatever you have to tell me Dallas" "I'm fallin' in love with you okay" Dally said. I just stayed quiet and looked outside the window, then I see Pony and Johnny in this abandoned church sleeping. "Oh my gosh. Dally stop the car" I said opening the door already. "What are you doing !!" Dally yelled out.

I ran inside the abandoned church and saw a blonde ponyboy and Johnny. Johnny still looked the same but his hair was shorter. "Pony. Johnny. Wake up guys it's me. (Y/n)." I said whispering. "(Y/n)?? W-what are you doin' here?" Johnny asked. "Let's go, come on. Dally help me out here yeah ?" I said trying to carry Johnny. "Put him down you're gonna
hurt yourself, here I'll carry him" Dally said carrying Johnny.

Now I have to wake up Pony. Damn it. "Pony wake up" I whispered in his ear. "(y/n)? w-what are you doing here ?" "let's go hurry up" "I-I thought you were mad at me ?" "Pony if you don't get your blonde ass in dally's car right now, I will leave you here all alone and I'll take Johnny" I said harshly. "Okay let's go then" pony said looking at me very serious. I just hope this whole car ride isn't so weird.
