Ponyboy (part 1?)

Today was your school dance and you still didn't know what to wear. You didn't wanna look all girly but you also didn't wanna to look all messy. Your date to the dance was ponyboy your best friend/crush. You've been crushing on ponyboy since you guys were 5.

"Hey (y/n) you ready for the dance today?" pony asked closing his locker. "Uh well y-yeah it's not like I still don't have my dress" you laughed nervously good thing pony didn't notice. "Oh okay. I'll pick you up at 8:00?" "You better" "alright see ya later (y/n)"

Ponyboy's P.O.V
I have no idea what to wear. I don't wanna go all dressed up but I don't wanna look messy either. (Y/n) has been my crush since I was 5 and I just love her so much. I really don't wanna mess this up.

Readers P.O.V
I finally decided what to wear for the dance. It's a blue dress with flower designs on the bottom of it and I'm wearing my leather jacket pony gave me for my birthday. Oh and I'm also wearing my leather boots because I'm not really a high heels girl. So I'm ready.

Ponyboy's P.O.V
I've decided to take (y/n)'s favorite shirt I wear which is my gray t-shirt and my dark blue jeans. I was also wearing dally's black leather jack. Oh and I'm wearing my black tennis shoes because I'm not really a boot person. So I'm ready.

8:00 p.m
It was time for ponyboy to pick you up. You were pacing back and forth and you couldn't stop. This was a big moment for you because you've been having a crush on pony for the longest. "Okay (y/n) don't freak out when you're dancing with him. Just be you yeah and don't be weird." You heard a knock on your door and you started freaking out even more. "Hey pony" you said shakily. "H-hey (y/n). You look great" "thanks you look great also" "thanks uh-so shall we go" pony said with his hand out. "We shall but let me just turn off the lights from my room" you said walking to your room.

At the dance
The whole gang was at the dance which was weird cause Darry was there also. Darry is usually busy to go anywhere so this is rare. "Hey Darry I'm surprised you came" you said scream talking because the music is so loud. "Hey kid, yeah I came just incase there's a rumble there are a lot of soc's here tonight" "yeah there is. I'll see ya around Dar" "alright kid see ya" Darry said looking at people dancing.

You've been sitting down at the benches for almost 2 hours already. You were so bored no one has asked you to dance or anything not even pony. He was busy talking to cherry outside which upsets you because he asked you to the dance but hasn't asked you to dance or isn't even with you. "Hey doll what are you doing here all alone." You looked up and saw Dallas Winston standing right in front of you. "Oh hey Dally I'm just waiting for ponyboy but it seems like he left me for Cherry" you said in a sad voice. "Pony is dumb for leaving you, especially for Cherry but hey I don't usually ask people to dance but you know you wanna like dance or whatever" "Dallas Winston are you asking me to dance with you" "you know what never mind" dally said leaving. "No wait! I'd love to dance with you" you said smiling.

Ponyboy's P.O.V
"Thanks for the advice Cherry it really means a lot" I said holding some flowers for (y/n). "No problem pony now hurry up and get in there and just ask her to dance then you know what to do next" cherry said waving goodbye. I was going to (y/n) to be my girl tonight I just hope she isn't mad that I left her for almost 2 hours. Cherry was just helping me with how to dance and how to ask (y/n) to be my girl.

Reader's P.O.V
Dally and I were dancing "At The Hop" by Danny and The Juniors. I was so surprised that dally knew how to dance, he was great. We also danced "La Bamba" and "C'mon Everybody" and so many more. I was having so much fun, then I see pony sitting where I was 20 minuets ago. "Aren't you tired Dal?" I asked still dancing. "No I'm having so much fun with you" Dally said spinning me around. "If you're tired doll we could go have a seat" "yeah I think that's a good idea" I said walking to ponyboy.

"Hey pony how was you leaving me for cherry go for ya" you said sarcastically. "Oh I don't know (y/n) how was dancing with Dally and not me go for ya" pony said also sarcastically. "Oh don't do that pony not to me you know damn well you came to the dance with me and you decided to leave me here sitting in this bench for almost 2 hours just to go talk to Cherry !!" Pony stayed quiet and he was looking at the ground. "Thanks for asking me to the dance then leaving me for the same broad ponyboy thanks a lot" you said leaving the dance.

I think I'll do a part 2 of this imagine. Sorry if I made some grammar or spelling mistakes :/
