"You make my dreams come true

I don't usually do this

But I think you're the coolest person ever f*ck

I feel the emotion

The giant's awoken

Cause you're sick and I suck

Being calm when I want what I want

And I want it

(Ohhh) You're more refreshing than a cold Sprite

Didn't even notice that my phone died

Don't remember future looking so bright

Psychic said to me that I should hold tight"

.....

Reaching the ice cream truck, Icarus took out his wallet and looked over at me. "What favor do you want?"

"Chocolate,"  I replied instantly. "I can pay you back for mine tomorrow. I left my money at home."

"Nonsense," was all Icarus said to me before walking up to the window of the ice cream truck and ordering two double scoop chocolate cones.

"Are you sure?" I asked as we waited for our order to be ready. "I really don't mind paying you back."

"A girl never pays on a date," Icarus smiled at me, causing my heart to melt.

He was too kind. "Thank you," I managed to say just loud enough for him to hear.

"Anytime, Grace," Icarus said. "But, if you really want, you can pay me back in other ways."

Something in my mind clicked and I raised an eyebrow at Icarus' words. He couldn't have meant what I figured he meant. Was the charade up? Was Icarus really a crude man that would suggest such a thing?

"What do you mean?" I asked, hoping to dissolve my disbelief in what I thought he was suggesting. I prepared myself for his words.

Icarus grinned and gave a small chuckle as if knowing the ways in which my mind was operating. "Tell me some things about yourself that I don't know about already."

A weight lifted off my shoulder and I released a sigh. "Ummm  . . . I have two brothers, Ryland and Walker. Ryland is in middle school and Walker is in college." I tried to think of what else to say. I had always considered myself a bland person, not much to tell or get to know.

"There has to be more to you than that, Grace," Icarus said.

I bit down on my bottom lip, thinking hard. "I have an unhealthy addiction to hot chocolate. I genuinely love academics and I hate when people call me Gracie."

"See there you go," Icarus jested just before our order came up. Walking over to the ice cream truck window once more, Icarus paid and got our cones. "Here you go," handing me my chocolate cone, Icarus began to lick his ice cream.

"Thank you."  I grabbed the cone, giddy to have something cool and sweet on such a warm day. "It's oddly warm out for the winter," I commented as Icarus and I started to take the trail which roped around the park in a big loop.

"Yeah, it is. It would be a great day to go on a motorcycle ride," Icarus said as he tilted his head to look at the clear blue skies.

I tried not to act surprised but I knew my tone deceived me, "You own a motorcycle?" I asked, frightened at the thought of me ever on the back of one, let alone driving. It seemed dangerous.
