Someone Like You: Adele'Never mind I'll find someone like you, I wish nothing but the best for you two.'
'Shawn, Sienna over here!' the photographer called out and I internally groaned.
'God do they ever stop,' I muttered underneath my breath and Shawn just let out a laugh as he gripped my waist tightly as we made our down the red carpet for the 2022 Australian Music Awards in Sydney.
'We are almost there Sienna, then we can sit down,' Shawn said softly before another photographer called our names and we took one last burst of photos before walking inside.
'I forget how famous you are sometimes,' I laughed as we intertwined our hands and walked to the room where the awards were being held.
Shawn released his first album 'Handwritten' the summer that we finished year twelve, so only two years ago. Since then he has also released two more albums 'Illuminate' and 'Shawn Mendes.' The latter of the two is my favourite one he has ever put out.
'I'm really not that famous Sienna,' Shawn laughed shaking his head as we walked into the room, filled with celebrities that all greeted Shawn with a smile and a hug, all nodding in my direction when they saw me by his side.
'You are literally nominated for five awards' I laughed as we found our seats, when I noticed who was sitting next to me. Ashton.
Luke, Ashton, Michael and Calum started a band '5 Seconds of Summer' when they were in London and I think everybody can agree that they are bigger than anybody thought they would ever be.
'Fuck sake' I mumbled when I saw my brother and his band mates walk over to their seats, no girlfriends in sight.
Ashton and Isla are still together, as well as Evie and Michael and Olivia and Calum. My worst fears where confirmed one day when I saw Luke post a photo on his Instagram of him and Eliza, a mere two months after we had broken up and he left for London.
'Fancy seeing you here Sienna,' Ashton laughed as he pulled me into a hug. I was in my second year of studying journalism at the University of Sydney, whilst also interning once a week at Vogue, whilst also working at a cafe called 'Paper Gift' part time, meaning I really did not have that much spare time.
'Wow what's it been Ash? Four months?' I questioned and Ashton looked guilty when I questioned him about the last time we saw each other.
'I'm sorry Sienna, you know I have been busy.'
'I'm kidding, I get it,' I said as he pulled me into a tight hug before letting go so I could say hello to Michael and Calum.
Luke and I had spoken once in the last three years, when I congratulated him on the release of the boys EP 'Somewhere New.'
That was almost three years ago now, Luke never reaching out to me after that conversation.
'Hey kiddo, how are you?' Michael asked as he pulled me in for a hug. Evie and Michael are still going strong, as well as Olivia and Calum.
'I'm good, how are you?' I asked as Michael and I chatted quickly before I said hello to Calum, who I had always been close with. We chatted for as long as we could, before we were all required to take our seats.
