Why Won't You Love Me?: Sequel to Dazed & Confused

'Nothing comes close to the way that I need you. I wish I can feel your skin, and I want you, from somewhere within.'

'Twenty is a weird age isn't it?' I questioned, Milly and Isabel just raising their eyebrows at me.

'I guess you could say that,' Milly laughed as we finished getting ready for our celebratory birthday brunch that we have been having for all of us in our friendship group since we finished school. However this year it would be different because Shawn is not here and we are no longer together.

'Well you are no longer a teenager but you are barely an adult and it isn't an important birthday like twenty one or eighteen, so that is why I think twenty is an odd age,' I laughed as I found the pair of shoes I was looking for in my wardrobe, reminding me that I still had to talk to Shawn about who was going to keep the house.

'God you need something to eat, let's go,' Isabel said with a smile, shaking her head at me before we left for brunch, the boys meeting us there.

'Happy birthday Sienna!' Jack, Henry and Stefan all said as I sat down at the table in between Henry and Milly, a real smile on my face for the first time since Shawn broke up with me.

'Thank you guys,' I said with an honest smile on my face again, Henry pulling me into a side hug and squeezing me tightly, obviously hearing about Shawn and myself, from either  Shawn himself or one or my fiends because the only people I have personally told are Milly and Izzy.

'We ordered you a milkshake, it should be here soon,' Henry said and I thanked him whilst nervously fiddling with my white dress, feeling very unsure of myself at the moment, as I was missing Shawn and I really wanted him to be here.

'Are you all ready to order?' a waitress asked as she came over to us and we all nodded as she took our orders one by one, all of us ordering what we usually ordered from here, which consisted of my standard bacon and eggs to Jack's favourite açai bowl which he swears by.

'Right so we got you a present,' Stefan said picking up a white box with the words 'Chloé' on the front of it in gold.

'Guys...' I said trailing off, knowing how expensive Chloé bags are and that this would have costed them a fortune.

'You can't say no to this Sienna, and besides you have wanted this bag for ages,' Milly said with a smile as Stefan handed me the box and I profusely thanked all of them as he handed it to me, all of my friends waving it off like it was no big deal.

The bag in question was a medium sized pink crossbody with gold hardware, simple but it was something I had always dreamed of buying as I was never one for over the top accessories.

'You guys, this is beautiful,' I said as I took the bag out of the box to admire it. 'I love you, thank you so much.'

'We love you too Sienna, you deserve it,' Henry said with a kind smile before our food was placed in front of us, all of us taking a cheesy Instagram story before we ate our food and continued to talk and laugh aimlessly for an hour after that.

'Thank you guys so much, I really do have the best friends in the entire world,' I said honestly as I got pulled into a group hug with my friends , all of them hugging me a little more tighter than usual before we actually all had to leave because everybody besides myself had to be at work or university today.
