Wildflower: 5 Seconds of Summer

'I hear you callin' out my name, I love the sound, I love the taste.'

I walked into the restaurant, Mr Chang's that Luke had decided we would be having our Valentine's Day dinner this year, immediately met by the smell of rich and decadent Asian food, since it was fusion restaurant from many different cultures.

Luke had been in the studio all day recording, and I had been at work, so this was the first time we were seeing each since this morning.

I had chosen a red midi body con dress, that hugged my body like no other. It was extremely out of my comfort zone, but I was feeling slightly adventurous when I went shopping for my dress last week.

'Holy fucking shit,' Luke said as he stood up from his seat, a slight glowing look on his face when he saw me, which made my cheeks blush slightly.

'Hey baby,' I said with a smile, kissing his lips softly, being careful not to leave any lipstick stains on his face. 'You look very handsome.'

He was wearing a pink silk shirt, with black and white pin stripe pants, with his favourite silver glitter boots, which I know made him feel his best.

It was incredible to see Luke starting to dress in the clothes that made him feel his best. In high school, he would always dabble in clothes that could be classified as slightly more eccentric, but he would never stick to it. Now, however, he was wearing silk shirts, colourful boots and trousers that I wish I could pull off. He was finally properly finding himself and I loved it.

'You look fucking insane Sienna,' he said as he pulled my chair out for me, making me blush as we went and sat back down across from me. 'Red is definitely your colour.'

'Thank you Luke, how was your day?' I asked and he went on to discuss how they were recording a song that himself and the boys think could potentially be their first single off their fifth album, which was yet to be named, since they were only in the early stages of writing, recording and producing.

'What about you Si? How was your day?' Luke asked after the waiter came and asked if we would like something to drink, settling on a bottle of Shiraz for the evening.

After my internship at Vogue Australia was finished, the editor in chief, Laura Adelaide, offered me a job in their writing department, which I accepted immediately and I have been working there ever since.

I will not lie, it is hard, a lot harder than I expected it to be but I love it. All the long hours, early starts and late finishes are worth it when you get to see your work published at the end of the month.

Whilst I am only a baby compared to some of the journalists that work at Vogue, I have been able to sit in on interviews, photo shoots and video sessions with some of the worlds biggest stars. Even though I'm dating a very successful musician, I am still star struck by pretty much anybody who walks through the doors, which is one of the things I love about my job, no two days are ever the same.

'It was good thank you, I finished an article about Chanel's spring collection,' I said with a smile. It took some time getting used to the fact that the Northern Hemisphere's seasons were at different times to ours, it was probably one of my constant mistakes that my sub-editor would always find in my work.
