Turning Page: Sleeping At Last
'I've waited a hundred years but I'd wait a million more for you. Nothing prepared me for, what the privilege of being yours would do.'

'Look at my little girl, you are so grown up,' my mum said as she held my arms with her hands, a proud smile on her face.

'I am not that little anymore,' I laughed, trying not to cry as my mum pulled me into a tight embrace.

'You will always be my little girl Si, you know that,' my mum said and I just hugged a little tighter, because Jordan was supposed to always be the little one, but now that he is not here anymore, I guess that role has been passed to me.

'I love you,' I said as she let go of me, as it was almost time for me to walk down the aisle, so I could officially become Mrs Hemmings.

'I love you more Sienna,' my mum said as she picked up her clutch and phone. 'You look absolutely stunning.'

My dress was a strapless satin gown, with a slit in the skirt. The bustier had a small piece of ribbon around where it connected with the skirt, which made it look more refined and structured. I was wearing white patent heels to go with it, along with simple silver jewellery, and of course, my Tiffany engagement ring.

My hair was in a messy low bun, with a few strands pulled out around my face. I had opted for a long tulle veil, that clipped into my bun, which I would be taking off after photos were taken. My makeup was natural as always, with a gold shimmery eye and soft pink lipstick. I felt beautiful, and that was all that mattered.

Izzy was my maid of honour, and for my bridesmaids, I had Milly, Isla and my two cousins, Emily and Ruby. They were all wearing soft green full-length slip dresses, with white mules and soft pink eyes, to match with our bouquet, which were a combination of soft pink roses, pink wax flowers and a million-star baby's breath, which looked incredible wrapped in a bouquet.

The girls had already left our room, as I was now waiting for my dad to come upstairs so he could walk me down the aisle and I could finally be married to Luke. When he proposed, I said yes straight away, no questions asked.

'Sienna, can I please come in?' I heard my dad asked and I quickly made my way to the door to let him in. Luke and I were getting married at the Grounds of Alexandria, the ceremony being held in their rose gardens, and the reception being held in one of their larger outdoor rooms.

'Hey Dad,' I said with a smile as he walked into my room. We were staying in the hotel near where the ceremony was being held, meaning it was only a short drive away.

'You look, beautiful darling, I am so proud of you,' my dad said, pulling me into a hug. Even with my heels on, he still towered over me, which made me feel like a little girl all over again.

'I love you, dad,' I said, picking up my bouquet and giving everything that I would need for after the ceremony, such as my phone and my lipstick, to my dad for safekeeping.

'I love you too Sienna, shall we go?' he asked and I nodded as we left my room, my wedding planner Caroline, waiting outside so she could signal for Milly to walk down the aisle.

Once we got to the Grounds of Alexandria, I knew that this was meant to be. There were no nerves or last second hesitations, Luke has always been the one for me and that will never change.
