Today my dad's aunt and uncle came over, it was lovely to see them again. We had ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch then we went into town. We got some bits and bobs for tea and they insisted to buy the puddings for tonight and also got some local cheese to bring back home.
When we got back I showed our guests to my doodles and she did a zentangle bat for her 'bat-house' they've built. After that we showed them all of our New York pictures and looked at theirs as well (they had been a few years earlier).
We had BBQ'd* chicken burgers, sweet potato fries, salad, huge tomatoes and sweet corn not forgetting the ENORMOUS marshmallows for B&M on the BBQ afterwards! And even after all that I had treacle tart later anyway; It was sooo good and I'm not joking when I said I could eat the entire tart!
Later we played 'The World Cup of Animals'** and enjoyed it so much that we did a 'World Cup of Sweets' as well. Owls and Bon Bons win in our family.
Of course they had to leave eventually, but it was so nice to have a catch up and I hope to see them again soon. Tonight they are staying in a B&B in my town (right opposite where I work actually) and will be leaving to do more traveling tomorrow and when they got there they'll be canoeing, which seem fun!
See you tomorrow 🚣♀️🚣♂️
P.S. Don't you think that the best way to eat toasted marshmallows is to get it golden on the outside and wait until it's hardened up the you bite a hole in the crispy outer layer and suck out the lovely, warm, gooey insides of the marshmallow? 😋😋😋 Mmm I'm drooling just thinking about it!*is it a verb? It is now! 😂

Non-FictionHello! Thank you for stumbling along my daily diary, I hope you stay to have a look around \(^ω^\) This is a diary of my life from 26th July-31st December 2018 (hopefully XD). I'm really exited to share my crazily scarily boringly happy fandom fill...
