World One.

I sat completely still. The room around me was empty with only the quiet music coming from my speakers behind me.
I stared at the screen for longer than I wanted to, but something in my head was telling me not to click anything.
I wanted so badly to see who was messing with me and to tell them off for it, but my mind thought of every possible way in which that plan could backfire and I could end up killed.
Slowly, I selected World One and squeezed my eyes shut as I entered the world.

When my eyes pulled open once again, I stood in the middle of an open field, no buildings, no trees, just plain nothing.
I sighed and shook my head.
Well, this isn't what I expected.
I began to move my character around, exploring the open flat land.
I turned myself around to find a person standing behind me, and behind him, a whole city built up.
I dropped my controller in fear.

goldjeon: you must be her

I picked my controller back up from the floor, shaking harder now.

khyemii: i'm sorry.. who r u
*sent at 1:40am

goldjeon: nobody. but u must be hyemi
*sent at 1:40am

khyemii: ok wtf who r u
*sent at 1:42am

goldjeon: can you read usernames or do u need me to spell it out
*sent at 1:43am

I rolled my eyes at the screen and dropped my arms limp. I rethought every person I knew, every single friend, family member, and stranger I'd ever met and tried harder with the second to match a person with the username.

khyemii: i don't know you-
*sent at 1:45am

goldjeon: good. let's keep it that way.
*sent at 1:45am.

**goldjeon is offline.

I sat in shock. I had no thoughts at this moment. I sat silently as I watched goldjeon disappear off the screen and I was left in the world alone. I immediately left the world and shut my PlayStation off. I shut my light off and made sure every door was locked in my house before hiding in my bed and trying to catch my breath from running around my apartment so fast.
I laid, facing up to the ceiling as I could feel fear scratch at the back of my mind, forcing my eyes to stay open as the clock ticked away at the night. The sound of the hands on the clock made me shiver. Every creak coming from the bed, the floors, or anywhere in my apartment made me jump out of bed and inspect my apartment up and down.
Fear refused to leave me alone until I saw the small light of sun peer through my window and I could finally breathe again.
